Years ago, probably somewhere from 2000-2005, I saw a Hong Kong action film.
I remember only a few bits and pieces of it, and Google has not been helpful.
Here is what I remember:
-- The heroine is sent back in time to stop some "bad thing" from happening. She arrives in "modern day" Hong Kong.
-- The hero runs into the girl and takes her under his wing. He does the martial arts fighting in the movie.
-- In one scene, he has the girl back at his relatively small apartment, and he is cooking pasta, and he mentions it will be al dente. In her future, she's never heard of it, so he has to explain what that is.
-- When he is separated from the girl later, they use a few seconds from the spaghetti scene as a flashback/reminder to him that he is supposed to like her; if I remember it correctly. There was some sort of conflict going on with him about whether he did like her or not.
-- There is a big-chase martial-arts action scene at the harbor, with lots of running around and fighting on a metal superstructure of some kind.
Yeah, I know, it isn't much to go on.
Any ideas?
