"Vaunea want axe. Go smash!" she proclaims with a flourish. "So, what do for axe? Vaunea no good searchin."
Swillwort leans against his crutches. "Pretty much anything you desire. Just give me some guidelines and resources, I'll enchant one for you."

He looks over Vaunea's shoulder to see Finnian, following in a daze. "You do realize that two of your companions are in a catatonic state?"

Yes. Just not here.[/sblock]

Well, I for one could use some armor and a magic dagger. The dagger I can use as both a weapon and an implement, so any enchantment will work for either one. We're going up against Undead, but I'm under the impression that Radiant or Holy effects are really expensive/powerful, so I'm stuck with, like, fire or cold or just plain magic.
Cloth armor would be great. Is there something that you can make to stave off effects like sleep spells or what have you, so I don't get caught by enchantments or other effects?

[sblock=ooc] Basically, and I don't know about magic items, but I'll take either a magic dagger of some sort; or armor that lets me make an extra save against whatever effects cling to me. in RL I just got spanked by a goblin hexer, and waiting a minute before I could save was bad enough. Waiting a week for everyone to post? blarg.
I'll look through AV, but a daily "you roll an extra save" would be great. Basically. I'll eventually swap for leather armor, and I'm only thinking of this one fight. Maybe a to-hit dagger weapon/implement would be a good idea...[/sblock]

"The way my magic works is a sort of meta-real wish fulfillment. You must have a clear image of the item you seek in your mind and heart. Then, I actualize that item from the pleroma. If I suggest an item to you, it disrupts that process and dilutes the potency of the creation. The costs associated with the process are based upon the Law of Equivalent Exchange, for the universe does not permit us to create something from nothing. So, I'll have Annie get us some victuals, and you think about what you desire. As soon as you determine exactly what you want and are able to visualize the item well enough to give me a detailed description of its abilities, I can start the ritual, but remember, I can provide no suggestions nor direct your visualization process in any way, lest it nullify the ritual and consume the components without effect."

Yes, where is Drivan? I feel like I've been in a daze, but I don't recall seeing him since he went off to... what was he went off to do? The library? Maybe we should go look for him.

Swillwort makes his way over to an overstuffed chair. Gingerly, he settles into the seat and places his crutches to the side. He leans forward, elbows on his knees, chin in his palms, a look of broad amusement upon his face.

[sblock=ooc] Cool. Hey, could I say that the armor description I wanted is +1 armor that lets me make my saves at the start of my round rather than at the end? As a striker in my RL game I kept missing rounds. Even vs. Cousin Eustice, it was a pain waiting for my nuts to heal.
Would that be ok? How should Emral say that? [/sblock]

Here's what you do...

1. Pick an item out of the books.
2. Tell Swillwort the name of the item.
3. Give Swillwort the gold.

He performs the ritual, and you get the item.

[sblock=ooc]This is too complicated. I just want to smash things. And I don't even know there is a magic axe out there, but I want it as well. ;)

By the way, this *is* sarcasm. :P[/sblock]
