Two PrC's for Dragonstar dwarves. Please help

I like the 'Dwarven Truckers Association'. I will use that in my campaign (tee hee).

I'd emphasis the relations between the dwarves and the elves. Tech at the steam age was terribly invasive to nature (might just start another war).

I know about the Coalition from Rifts, and I say good luck. Who do you have in mind to keep ther Coalition busy (Paladium had atlantis, south america, north america, Phase World...) :)

I recently read a post on another mssage board about 'Why do dwarves take a hit to charisma?'. Some one had explained that the dwarves were community oriented. This meant that individually they took a Cha hit, but as a group they worked more effectively. This got me thinking...

Rituals where the dwarven sorcerers REGAINED their lost Charisma (just for the duration of the ritual). They could be mining gangs or assembly line works (dwarves are funny that way) but the effect would be the same.

In Alfglade, there really isn't a Coalition. Just one nasty bad group which is going the way of my version of the Dragonians which is set-up for Dragonstar without Acid explosions and will be set-up for Dawnforge someday with Racial Talents and Traits granted every level. So they will be more like everyone else and more playable. With Alfglade, there is a couple of bad guy civilizations. The lizards, the Duergar Pirates and an Evil Elven race which I'll be calling the Necro-Elves (the Dark Arts). It's all still in Development.
 


To the getting part is:

When I origanially developed Alfglade was I also saw the Elves and Dwarves always hating each other especially in the Palladium system, which I said what if a couple of Norse Dwarves and Asgardian Elves did not like that their two races was also fighting and banding together to find a new home for their races. So they rifted to Rifts Earth and saw there was fighting there as well and alot of racial hate as well. So they Rifted again to a new world that is now the World of Alfglade.
Once they got there, they built a city called Alfglade which is sacred place for these two races. There is a story behind this city as well which I planned on putting on my website once I understand this website thing which I'm putting together for my enjoyment which will have everything that I have been talking about.
To get back to the story is that later on in the history (from Palladium perspective anyway) is that a Battalion from the Coalition is on it's way up to Free Quebec for duty, but comes to a Rift, the General in command is very open minded to anything wants to investigate this Rift that has opened. Once in the other side, the Rift closes and everyone is now stuck. So the General makes a new home and starts to investigate this new world. Since now he does not have to answer to anyone but his self now. Which now the three major good powers are in play. As the other two races start exploring discovers lost Elven and Dwarven Races which makes up the stories behind Alfglade. My one player loves to investigate and a lot of Role-playing.
Now in the newer version which I'm converting over to the D20/OGL, the basis behind is that the Elves are more nature loving and bonding with the magical beast which is where one of my new Elven Races comes into play is the Draco-Elves which are the Royal Guard of the Elven Race, they bond with Dragons or Wyverns, I have decided on this yet. One of the other Races is the Necro-Elves which are more adept on the necromancy and are an Evil race. I also will like to introduce the Chameleon Elves perfect scouts for the Elven Nation.
The Dwarves now are more Clan based and will have a clan chain as well which is in development, more of occupational preference. So you will have a clan for everything like public works, city defenses will be broken down into different clans. Their Tachnology is mixed with using Father earth with technology. I have a monrail system that delivers the troops to the various outposts within the mountains. I also have little wooden cars that the scouts use to explore the mountain ranges for development and other gizmos.
Now the Humans are technological advanced more than the other two races . Now they will have Steam-powered power armor with the help from the Dwarven Emipre which is where the Dwarven Trucker Association comes into play. The Dwarves are the main line of Transportation for all these races now which I'd like to come up with a cool motto for this association.
This is where I'd love to make the Dwarves shine in this world and make others think don't Underestimate a DWARF again.
 

For your Necro Elves... have you looked at the the Drow Magic book by Mongoose Pub.? They created a class called the Web Spinners,orWQeave Masters, or something...

Anyway, the class combines the best of the wizard, sorcorer, and cleric classes. Might make a good enemy for your dwarves.

I might be working on and in discussion with Kiln Publication through Mongoose Publishing. I'm foruming with the owner of Kiln and their Steampunk campaign world. I think he liked my stuff, but I don't really know for sure since he really did not comment to after I posted and have been commenting back to me through the forum and talking about placing in another world instead of my own. The idea is to get my concepts out there and work from there afterwards.
I just thought you'd like to know about steampunk Dwarves that could help you in your quest for Dragonstar Dwarves ideas.
