Use the other side of the tokens!

This is something that may be a little silly to some, but I find it useful.

I realized I wasn't using the other side of my tokens effectively...

I could have been using them to keep track of PC/Monster bloody states, just by flipping it over.

So I created the other side of the tokens in photoshop, added a color overlay, some blood drops off google images and voila!

My tokens are printed on high quality glossy photopaper, punched out with a 1" hole puncher and affixed to metal washers. They are heavy duty long lasting!

Anyhow, this is just an idea for those of you that make youir own tokens like myself.

That's pretty intense token creation. Where do you get the washers, and how do you affix them?

One inch washers are available at a Home Depot or similar store for about a buck for a bag of eight.

I stick the counter on there with a kid's glue stick... I cutout the round poaper with a one inch hole punch available at a craft store like Michael's for like 6-7 bucks...

Very easy, very effective, and if you number the monster counters, it is easier to keep track of the battle instead of using minis IMHO....
