Vanishing Posts or Wrong Post Count

Yesterday, I finally hit 10k posts. (Actually have more, but the great crash of Whatever year it was ate 2k or so). I log into today and it says I have 9998. Searching my recent posts didn't turn any missing that I can tell, but its still odd.

Not a big issue (mostly vanity), but I do wan to make sure the posts aren't actually disappearing.

I did a re-index last night and also had the board relcaculate all the post counts and stuff. Over time these numbers can be a bit off (which isn't that much of an issue, but it does make searches a bit more of a drain), so it needs to be done every few months or so.
