Is it correct that a prerequisite for the Verdant Lord prestige class is the ability to cast Control Plants, an 8th level spell? This mean that unless there is a shortcut to the control plants spell I'm not aware of, you have to be level 15 to take classes in it. Even archmage is easier to reach than this! I've tried to check the Masters of the Wild errata, but the site is down for the moment.

In fact, Control Plants is the correct spell at Drd4 / Plant4 / Rgr3

Command Plants is 8th yes, and the prerequisite is Control Plants.

Actually the names for the two got switched around in 3.5 (Command Plants is now Drd 4, and Control Plants Drd 8), which I presume caused the original confusion for Trellian.
