Veronica Mars 1x20

Man, this is one reason I love this show. The writers are honestly in touch with pop culture.

Paris Hilton, ok sure, that anyone can get. But "the starwars kid"!
That was great. Just utterly perfect!

Funny thing is...

Actually, the really funny thing is that Paris Hilton was in the Veronica Mars pilot... when was the last time you saw a TV show make fun of one of their actors by name?

she was more then just in the pilot. She was in one of the episodes later on i think.

The star-wars-kid line made me fall off my elliptical machine from laughing so hard. That was awesome.

I'd add to "reasons to like the show" the fact that they are so good at creating nuanced characters. Logan Echolls was a straight-up villain in the first half of the season, and it was great to slowly see bits of his life and realize why he was the way he was, and watch him change for the better, or be revealed as someone with another side. And then to have the last few minutes of the last episode just kick us in the gut like that... that was awesome. Can't wait to see how it goes next week.

Couldn't agree with you more, taky. There are no cookie cutter characters in this show. They all have some kind of color, motivation or something else to make them interesting. And the show moves pretty quickly as well. The ability to make the case-of-the-week relate to the featured character and plot is always a treat.

And yeah, Kristen Bell is the cutest and spunkiest lil thing on TV. :)

Yup, and she was in the background of another I believe. I remember it because I felt physically ill every time she was on screen.

Seconded. Although 2 and 3 should be inverted. ;)

Nah, it's a good show overall. Everyone brings up good points. I also like the slick feel of the show.
