There's a preview video for the preview video you can watch now:

It shows a lot more of the new art as well as the Champion Fighter subclass blurred out... but you can still pretty much read it if you squint. Changes from the latest playtest are that Remarkable Athlete now lets you move up to half your speed without provoking opportunity attacks after you Crit rather than increasing your jump distance, and the wording for Survivor: Heroic Rally now appears to use the term "Bloodied" to describe being at below half health, which would indicate a return of that keyword from 4e.

Good eye. That was hard to spot, but I think you're right. Looks an awful lot like Bloodied. It'll make 4E clones a touch easier with that in the CC-BY 5.2 SRD.

Everyone clench. We're in for a few more years of people complaining about glasses and wheelchairs. Because gasp, shock, horror, there's a wheelchair user wearing glasses in the art.

I hope so. Bloodied is a very useful condition and I normally use it in 5e, if only to inform the players that monsters are below half HPs.

Good point about 4e clone, even though I still have a slight hope that WotC will release the previous editions SRDs. Very slight hope, but not non-existent.

I normally don't use the ignore feature, but if I start seeing people complain about this stuff again, I'll revisit my stance...

Yeah. Triggering actions/reaction off hitting bloodied was brilliant in 4E. Hope they fully bring that into 5E. It would help to make the mostly boring monsters a bit interesting.

I can't trust WotC. They've flat out lied, been underhanded, put out half truths, gaslit the community, and sent the damned Pinkertons after fans. When they release previous edition SRDs into the CC-BY is the moment I'll believe they're going to.

Definitely.

But is the characters presented in "sanitized MCU Disney colors" such as non-brown?!
Thankfully there's a good mix of skin tones and visually assumed genders.

Two examples...

I thought the one on the right was just a reuse of the art from Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft, but then I looked and saw it's a completely different art piece using characters from 2 different pieces in Ravenloft, it's looks to be of Gennifer and Laurie Weathermay with Alanik Ray and Arthur Sedgwick.

nd the wording for Survivor: Heroic Rally now appears to use the term "Bloodied" to describe being at below half health, which would indicate a return of that keyword from 4e.
If so, that might be nice! Avoids the awkward "half your maximum hit points" wording, and if they're using the mechanic a lot, I totally see a reason for that.

Bloodied was an unfortunate casualty of the HP wars, and it deserves a comeback.
