Level Up (A5E) VTT support?

So I know there isn't a lot of info out yet besides that vtt support will be happening, but for me that's kind of the deal breaker that's deciding whether I'll purchase this. I've been following for a long time and I'm super stoked on it but my group plays exclusively online and I won't play with Roll20 which is the only VTT mentioned as of yet. I'm just worried that I'll spend 80 bucks for the pdf's and then have to buy them all over again if they come out for a VTT. So I'm not sure if it's smarter to just wait until we get confirmation for the rules on a VTT or get it now. If we had some kind of confirmation for either fantasy grounds or foundry I'd jump on this so fast. Just not sure yet.

They're such enormous things to do that right now, all we are focused on is making the books. Once the dust has settled, we'll be able to make long-term decisions about VTTs, but we're not in any position to make any decisions at the moment.

All I can say is that the hope is to bring the game to as many platforms as possible. But for now, we're making some books!

While there is no official support for Foundry I have been working on an unofficial system for it using the SRD. I'm not sure if that'll help you make a decision

Using our SRD? We haven’t released that yet! In fact we haven’t written it yet!

I'm putting together a list of VTTS for us to look at. Obviously, we can only do a couple of them. Have I missed any obvious ones?

(list found on Reddit)

3D Virtual Tabletop
Astral Tabletop
Battlegrounds
d20Pro
Epic Table
Fantasy Grounds
Foundry
GM Forge
Maptool
Roll20
SyncRPG
Tabletop Simulator
Talespire

Looks like you've gotten all the main ones though, supporting all of them will be a pain 😅

Not even remotely possible! It'll take months to make just one full VTT support. But 1-2 of them we can do. We'll probably have a poll and figure out which ones people want the most.

The most popular votes would be foundryvtt, fantasy grounds, and roll20. Do you plan to build out systems for it or just provide paid content?

We haven't planned anything right now. This will all be post-Kickstarter stuff. We'll get some opinions in during the campaign, but we've decided nothing (other than that Roll20 has a character sheet already, and we're making a Roll20 version of the starter adventure).
