[Waaaay OT] I am the chosen one...

Why, o why, couldn't there be a vending machine that dispenses bottles of Guiness?

Ah, for a frosted bottle of that potent Stout, the greatest validation of the existence of Ireland!

Oh well. Until the day that I can get alcohol from a vending machine, there's always Mountain Dew Code Red(tm).

Very good point. It would be a great day when you could stop in the mall while shopping, pop a few coins into a machine, and get a frost cold Beer.:D

Tsk tsk. Religion is taboo. I might have to summon a mod.

Before I do that, however, I might mention the cautionary tale of the Cola Wars. The only thing stopping us from annhiliation is Assured Mutual Refreshment. Coke and Pepsi. Night and Day. Good and Evil. Love and Marriage. Let me tell you, brother: you can't have one without the other.

In my experience with soda, there are a few to avoid:

Coke - I've seen it dissolve nails. Enough said.

Mountain Dew - That stuff is friggin toxic. It is what turns men into boys, and boys into serial killers.

ANYTHING DIET! - Yuck. Just yuck.

HOWEVER, you can't go wrong with Ginger Ale, and Pepsi rules!

Personally, I prefer juices and iced tea, but there's just something about soda that can't be resisted.

Coke is PH 2.4, give or take a little. Neutral being 7, stomach acid being about 2, and concentrated hydrochloric acid being around 1, for the non-chemistry types out there. Good stuff, gives it a bit of a bite - that's why I prefer it over Pepsi. ;)
