Want more Rachael Ray? Who doesn't...

It's not like I'd leave my wife if Nigella ever said, "Would you care to taste this muffin?" But that is only because my head would have exploded.

PB&J sandwich almost flew out of my mouth when I read this.

Nigella = hot.

Giada = hot at first glance but bothers me when I watch her show. It's totally food porn. It's shot differently than any other food network show and Giada uses the word "creamy" about 300 times in every episode. "You can put your proscuttio in this creamy reduction."

Rachel Ray = hot. I had no idea she was in Maxim. Must. . .find. . .back. . .issue. She is a bit silly, but I still like her. Flipping channels the other night and stopped on "30 Minute Meals"

Me: "Holy crap! Rachel's got a really low cut shirt on!"
Mrs. nakia in other room: "What did you say?"
Me: "ummm. . . '30 minute meals' is on!"
Mrs. nakia comes into room to watch TV: "Holy crap! Rachel's showing it off today!"

Oh, and I'm torn on Tyler Florence. On one hand, my wife thinks he's hot. On the other, he seems like a cool guy to hang out with, which may be a recipe for disaster. "Oh, sure, Tyler! You go ahead and 'get to work in the kitchen with my wife.'"

I may have some issues.

And if I listen to my wife, Tyler Florence will never be allowed in my house. :uhoh:

This sounds odd, but I love her voice. Her show must have sensitive microphones because it's the only show I can distinctly hear the sounds of boiling water and the sounds of the knife hitting the board; not sure if it's intentional, however. I agree on the Italian booblehead though.

I don't get the second comment, does your wife hate his cooking?

I HATE Rachel Ray. She's too damn giggly and fake. I've never managed to watch more than five minutes of her show, and even that makes me want to back over her with my car. :]

Don't hold back, Buttercup, tell us how you really feel....

I like the concepts of Rachael Ray's shows, but I understand the annoyance with perkiness. But I bet she's not really like that all the time. It's like my best friend who sells Mary Kay to get out of annoying-divorce-debt. She's a totally real person, but when she sells Mary Kay, she must be engaging and enthusiastically presenting product (read higher pitched voice).

I'm sure the same rules apply for TV and cooking shows, which adds to the annoying factor for certain viewers.

But wouldn't you want to explore a city with her on $40 a day?

I think your right, she's not as annoying on her other show, the $40 day, she seems more natural and real (still perky, but that may be a personality thing).

Sounds good. But you'd have to make it $80 for 2 plus the $10 for the obligatory wine ;)
