Warhammer FRP 2e: Paths of the Damned OOC [Recruiting Alts]

Newsflash! This just in: "Daggers suck!" ;)
Man I can't wait until Grimkrag can get his hands on a real weapon. Then he'll start doing some damage. :]

Iron Captain: Good catch, IC. I goofed there, because I was paying attention to the Dodge and Parry rules on the next page.

That said, since I've already allowed it once (and am comfortable with it), I'm going to allow parrying stance, and I'll revisit the rest of the advanced options after "Through the Drakwald."

Sorry, I'm new to the WFRP rules and I just wanted to retain a defensive manuever because I don't have a shield. Thanks for understanding the oversight. It was not intentional.

Lot: Not a big deal.

Insight: Thanks for the rolls. :) Unfortunately, I think I didn't quite explain what I wanted really well — what's so helpful to me about the way that everyone else is rolling in this combat is that I don't have to do a lot of extra work in referencing character sheets and adding modifiers. I only have to adjudicate the result and narrate it; everything I need is in one place in the thread. It's an incredible time saver, especially in a PbP game, and it lets me keep the speed up. And I know it was a pain to do all those rolls and paste them into your post, and I feel like a major jackass for saying this, but having all these rolls linked in one post and without the modifiers doesn't really help me, as now I have to reference that post (until those rolls are used up) and reference your character sheet -- and I'm just back at the same place hopping around and using up more time. So, what I'm going to do is ask you to do something closer to what the others are doing in future posts, but I will use as many of those rolls as I need to in the next two rounds of combat. This is definitely my fault; I really wasn't clear enough earlier. My bad. Side note: what is Falandror doing in the next two rounds of combat? Same as before?

Iron Captain: You know, if you prick something with a needle enough times, it'll still die. You might not break through the skin all the time, but...:p

Kajamba: Do you know about Karl Green? He hasn't been on the boards in quite a while and hasn't posted in the IC thread at all. At first I didn't even notice but I'd just thought I'd ask/point it out.

Iron Captain: I know nothing about what's up with Karl. I was hoping he'd join us, but I'll have to assume that RL has kept him busy. The adventure'll run fine with four players, so no worries. Plus, there's always the off chance that either Cthulhu's Librarian or Teflon Billy will decide to join us. So we're not hurting.

Actually, it's no big deal. After looking at it myself, I can see where that didn't exactly help the situation. I'll just post the rolls inline with my actions. Editing my post now...

Wilphe: I had Winifred disengage in order to use her bow. She did avoid the free attack.

Had I realised it was going to go to melee, she'd have attacked with melee. I'd assumed that if she didn't charge to meet them she'd be okay.

Wilphe: I realized after I read your post that I played things a little too loosely. In the future, I will note distances, so everyone will have an idea if they'll be in melee or not. Thanks for understanding. :)
