Question for Jurgen (sorry, no umlaut)...It's been awhile since I have used my German, can I use bruderbund for the word "order" (as in "The Order of the White Panther")?

I think it is better to use either the word "orden" what ist obviously the direct translation of the word order or "bund" (= association) or "bruderschaft" (= brotherhood), what is both very close to the word you want to use.

Ah, if only they had finished it with the whole Empire in Flames bit...

Was it not finished with this part?

As far as I know these are the parts of the campaign:

1.) Shadows over Bögenhaven,
2.) Death on the Reik,
3.) Power behind the throne, what includes in newer editions big parts of "city of chaos"
4.) Something rotten in Kislev, this part is not mandatory
5.) Empire in Flames

In Empire in Flames the whole plot is brought together and solved, or not? Did I miss something?

The Hogshead reprints stop at Kislev - there was a plan to rewrite Empire in Flames as 'Empire in Chaos' to fix some percieved faults with the original, but the book was never finished and published before Hogshead gave the license back to GW for WFRP.

An interesting development mentioned over here. It seems "Mad Al" Nunez (of Stone & Steel fame) is going to be releasing his own "Empire in Chaos/Flames" doc shortly. While his own version of events, I'm betting it will make a fine stand-in for volume 5 . Especially for those of us unwilling to shell out what that book goes for on eBay.

"Orden" is the best word, though "Bruderschaft" is sometimes used as well (though a Bruderschaft is less formal than an Orden).

While the word "Bruderbund" does seem to exist (German is rather flexible about creating new words by slapping two or more old words together), it sounds somewhat... tacky.

Of course, this has never stopped writers for Warhammer before...

Yes, yes it is. Format for the Bestiary is interesting, player part which is NPC information about the creatures what a player would hear when talking about the monster and then the DM and stat area .

The DM section of the bestiary also (thankfully) provides a way to somewhat determine the lethality of confronting characters with a particular monster - the 'Slaughter Margin'
