Warlock Feats

TarionzCousin

Second Most Angelic Devil Ever
A new player in my game is building a Warlock. I'm helping him, but my brain is hurting.

What are the best feats for a Warlock?
Are there any that affect his Eldritch Blast?
Which feats improve his ability to hit?
Can I use feats designed for ranged melee weapons on his Eldritch Blast, e.g. Precise Shot?

Yes to your last question, check Complete Mage for further feat ideas. But basically stick with things that will increase your damage ability with eldritch blast and make you a versatile shot putter/sniper.

They work well that way. That and Complete Mage offers you ideas that will most certainly make you feel like "Man I'm glad they made this book!"

The Fey/Fiendish Heritage feat trees are great for Warlocks. Point Blank/Precise Shot are equally useful.

Improved Toughness and Ability Focus are also decent choices. Also look into Maximize Spell-like Ability and Quicken Spell-like Ability when you meet the caster level requirements.

Listen to the Thayan. He knows what he's talking about.

Although I'd probably skip Improved Toughness and look at a Pr-class like Hellfire Warlock. ;)

And make sure you incorporate the errata to his eldritch blast, otherwise he'll never qualify for these.

Sorry for the tangent but I don't think my guestion deserves its on thread. I have similar problem with a warmage. Could someone give a few good ideas for two feats.

Warmage? Eh nothing stands out other than perhaps checking PHBII class alteration/alternate feature thing.

That's about all I can recall. No idea about feats, honestly Blacky.
