My warlock just made it to 10th level, so I need to pick a new lesser or least invocation. The character is CN and themed around air, wind, storms, and so on. For flavor purposes, I describe my eldritch blast as a strong gust of wind. My current invocations are: eldritch spear, eldritch chain, entropic warding, fell flight, and see the unseen.
If I go along with the theme, hellrime blast would be a good choice, as would breath of the night. However, I feel that both are somewhat underpowered and the warlock class itself isn't particularly strong at mid to high levels.
Going by pure utility, devil's sight and walk unseen seem interesting.
My Charisma is only 16, so I don't think I'll be taking any invocations that actually allow a save. Also, I plan on taking vitriolic blast at 11th level, although I'll ask my DM if he'd let me substitute 1/2 cold and 1/2 electrical damage instead of acid (to fit my theme better).
