It's Star Wars week. They could release a movie with all the secrets of life and happiness in it and I'd still only see it after seeing Revenge of the Sith a few times.

I agree with Wombat, to a point. While one of my players will be at the midnight showing, in costume, Thursday night, I will wait until it reaches the discount theatre in a few months. I've seen all of the previous five in theatres, but am not in a big hurry to run out and see any more.

if I can my girl up early enough we might be able to catch a matinee show on saturday or sunday ... I don't think my geek-fu is strong enough to overcome sleeping in and being lazy though

do those theatre's have a decent sound set up? ... one of the reasons I'll catch a matinee showing (around $6 v reg of $9.50) is for the visual and auditory experiences. Later on it'll come to my in-laws local theatre which only charges $3.50. Even better, they're strict on rules and routinely kick out those annoying unsupervised teenagers that throw ice/candy/talk etc.

Probably will wait until a weeknight next week to see Star Wars. I probably won't see anything this weekend. Though I will play a Star Wars RPG on Sunday!

I wasn't in a huge hurry to see Star Wars, figured I would get to it with my wife after school was out for the summer. Then we got a chance to have someone watch our kids this Saturday evening and thought why not? Bought our tickets online and for the first time in I have no idea how long, I'll see a movie around the same time as my friends instead of months later and having to stick my fingers in my ears whenever they all start talking about it.
