What are you planning on doing with Arcana Unearthed?

I plan on writing backgrounds for the races and converting the classes over to D20 Modern for my psuedo-Rifts game I'm playing in. I like the idea of several of the classes, and I think they'd fit into the "all-in-one" style of game that my campaign is quickly becoming.

I mean, come on, a magic system that mirrors the weapon system...how idotically elegant IS that?

The rest, I'll check out before I adopt full-scale....but the magic system looks Uber-yums.

It depends ... I definitely will buy it. I tend to buy things but not use the rules ... just steal flavor. The magic system looks interesting, as do the new classes.

Is it coming out in hard back?

Check it out in stores and see if its worth buying. If so, then buy it...otherwise, I'll put it back and just walk away.

I'll have to check on what my group wants to do, but...

...by August we should have epiced out our current group of characters so I'm thinking that AU will make a great new campaign. I am very much looking forward to the Diamond Throne setting.

I will, however, probably be integrating a lot of the core material. These are the books the players' own and I'd like to be able to make use of capstone settings like Oathbound and Ravenloft as well.

That and integrating some new material should enable me to slip in some of my own stylings.
