If i had $100 extra dollars around, I'd get thee to the strip club and partake in mindless debauchery and the giving of all said money to naked women. I mean, gaming is good and fine, and yeah you asked what d20 books we'd buy... but come on...

Savage Species

Picked it up two days ago and I love it. I seriously recommend it and use it in your game. Especialyl when you have vetaran players, it just gives an additional number of oppertinuties and some real new flavor to the game. The monster prestige classes will seriously surprise your players. I'm kept this book a secret till after the first session. I don't allow them to look into it but still. It's nice to have something they are not familiar with and to watch them innovate and think up stuff along the way.

The best part was when they concluded it was not from any material they possesed or were acquainted with. Now lets hope the party munches don't start downloading it :(

I recently got my bonus check at work...and after getting all my bills paid up and putting a decent chunk aside for saving..I still have a hundred or two to spend....

So...since I have too many books to name off....lets just get some ideas going...

post the list of books you would buy right now if you had 100 dollars to spend just on d20 books....

go...

I'll fudge and go with $200

I would get
Swashbuckling Adventures
Swashbuckling Arcana
Soveriegn Stone
Codex Mysterium
Mongoose Feat Guide
Mongoose PRC Guide

Optionally if you don't like Swashbuckling or Sovereign Stone
Arcane Magic
Divine Magic
Book of Eldritch Might 1,2,3

and since this is windfall money
Midieval Societies PDF
And Everyone Else PDF

I wouldn't buy any books right now cause I got all I need and what's out there just isn't worth the money.

It's mostly fluff.

I go to my FLGS once a week and I rarely buy anything because 90% of the d20 stuff is overpriced gaming materials that I'd never use.

9% of it is useful but I'd never use it because I just don't have the time nor the inclination to use it.

1% of it is actually stuff that is useful and I would use.

I think I already have that 1%.

I've been pretty bad about picking books up for the most part, since I'm obviously not made of money. I'm actually looking at getting a decent bonus check within the next couple of weeks as well, so this may become a reality for me.

There are still some older titles that I want to pick up:
MM II
FFG's Traps and Treachery (maybe both volumes)
AEG's monster book (I think they are the ones that recently put out a big monster book; I already have ToH, but the more the merrier)
Monkeygod's Black Ice Well module (gonna integrate it into the campaign I'm working on)

All I can think of off hand.

No Brainers:

Skull & Bones from Green Ronin (ok, it isn't in stores yet but it's only a few weeks away until release)

Broadsides from Living Imagination

Mutants & Masterminds from Green Ronin

Under consideration:

A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe from Expeditious Retreat Press.

Alchemy & Herbalists from Bastion Press.

I know there are a couple of others but I just can't remember them right now.

2 have $200 is to dream :D

If I had 200.00 to spend on what is out in the gaming market right this moment, this is what I would purchase:

Champions genre book.
Hero System Game Screen.
Ultimate Martial Artist book.
Fantasy bestiary for Hero.
Ninja Hero genre book.
Dragon Magazine 305 (just to keep my 3ed mag collection going).
Creatures of the Wyld (for Exalted).
Eclipse Caste book.

I think that might go over 200 bucks, but this is what I would get right now.

If you meant just d20 stuff, then I would save my money for Arcana Unearthed books, but that's way in July and August.

I'd tell you, but I'm too busy salivating over having that much money to spend, at all.

What would I buy with ~100$? New socks. Food (other than Ramen and bread). Drinks (other than water).

As far as books go? That's tough. Probably all the Faerun books, which everyone undoubtedly has already.

Geeze. :D

I'd pick up the four FFG "Path" books, and maybe some non-d20 products for a change (I've been eyeing the Decipher Star Trek RPG for about a year now).
