What books would you buy right now...if you had a few hundred to spend!!

Subscribe to the </i>EN players Journal</i>. I'm looking forward to that.

As far as stuff I have, dunno. It's easy to go overboard buying d20 stuff; lots of it is good but whether it's worth buying depends a lot on what you need.

Do you like to buy Adventures? If so, stock up on some good adventures: Rappan Athuk I-III, Tomb of Abysthor, What Evil Lurks. NGs recent ones have been reviewed well: Vault of Larin Karr, et. al. Monkeygod adventures are good--I have Tsar Rising and the Dancing Hut, though there are several other good ones (so say reviewers). Fiery Dragon makes good adventures, I can recommend Of Sound Mind. Go all out and get RttToEE, City of the Spider Queen, Necropolis, or Banewarrens. Subscribe to Dungeon.

Do you like Sourcebooks? Well, most of the good ones are mentioned above. I want to get NG's Book of Taverns and Tome of Horrors. I do like Green Ronin's Assassin book; it's not quite my view of what an Assassin should be but there's loads of usable stuff (though the PDF Crimson Contacts has a lot more apparently)

Do you want a new setting? I like the look of Kalamar, I have to say (based on seeing the Player's Guide). Lots of interestying stuff. They have new races like half-hobgoblins. I would like to get Bluffside and am looking forward to Bards Gate (from Necromancer)

Do you want some other aids? A battlemat, perhaps?

At the end of the day, putting the money in the bank is not a bad thing. You probably have everything you need to play.

Well I'm already got these but Hornsaw, Forest of Blood is definately one, Monster's Handbook is definately another.

But certainly MEG's Necromancer's Legacy and probably Midnight.

Under consideration:

A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe from Expeditious Retreat Press.

Alchemy & Herbalists from Bastion Press.
Hmm... after seeing the preview, I can't say I'm all that impressed by Alchemy & Herbalists so it's no longer under consideration.

I know there are a couple of others but I just can't remember them right now.
I remembered what it was! All the wonderful stuff from Worldworks!

Do you mean AEG's ToolBOX? If not then damn, I am gonna be out even more money, I just love books like this, they get the ole' brain juices a-flowin'!

*smacks self on forehead* Yes. That's what I mean. I just hadn't had enough coffee yet. Toolbox is abso-frickin-lutely cool! I haven't read through the whole book yet because I keep going "hmm. yeah, and then if I..." At this rate I figure I should finish reading it in about 2007.:D

savage species, the book that i had no interest in for months, is fantastic. as a DM i mean. the possibilities for new challenges for my campaign are almost endless...

My take

- Plains of penance, to get more information on the Great world of the forge/oathbound

- Arsenal (For my Dragonstar campaing)

- Ghelspad (Already have it but it is a good suggestion)

Hmmm... as I have virtually nothing beyond the Core 3, I'd probably look at Manual of the Planes, Epic HB, maybe Deities and Demigods. Arsenal I am intrigued by, and the Creature Catalogs are... fairly unique, I suppose is the best way to put it. Savage Species, maybe; it sounds very much up my alley.

I've heard good things about Mutants and Masterminds, and if I hadn't won it over at the d20 Magazine Rack a couple of weeks ago I'd put it on this list too. Now I just gotta wait for it to ship to New Zealand...:D

Savage Species
Spycraft, Shadowforce Archer, and the splatbooks
Original Deadlands + supplements
Faiths and Pantheons

The rest I'd save for the books that are coming out later:
Revised Core Rules for 3E
Gamma World
Urban Arcana
That player's handbook-style expansion for Star Wars

edit: Oh, and Feng Shui. All the Feng Shui I could find.
