What Classes are roleplayed the WORSE ?

Rangers. There again, it's mostly a problem with the weird class' flavor.

Barbarians. You don't have to be an inbred savage who hates magic, civilizations, elves, and females. Dude! Fafhrd's cooler than you!

Hey! I'll have you know that my barbarian dosen't hate elves because he's a barbarian... elves are easy enough to dislike as is.

Were's the none of the above option. Personally, I've yet to see any class role played badly. Sure, somce classes get role played in a cliche manor, but as long as the player does a good job who cares. I think a lot of this might reflect more on the people playing the game then the classes.

Paladins because nobody can agree on what a paladin is supposed to be or how to interpret LG alignment.

I don't mean this as an afront to my fellow gamers, but I've very rarely seen a Bard who is charismatic.

It's extremely hard to roleplay a charismatic character when you yourself are not a charismatic person. We always make the comparison of playing someone with an 18 int, when you may only have a 14 int...the same goes for having a high wisdom.

But the really hard one I think is trying to roleplay a high charisma.

Classes involving religion are usually roleplayed the worst. I don't know how often I have witnessed players play a cleric like he is a wizard. They don't care about fulfilling their religious obligations nor do they spend there time furthering the goals of their chosen diety.

From a tactical roleplaying perspective, wizards are usually poorly played. Alot of wizard players don't develop strategies to help the party. They just blast or cast away trying to hog the glory for themselves while complaining when they are unable to affect the creature.

Exactly what Celtavian said about clerics, and paladins, 'cause I have yet to see a truly (or I could even say slightly) good paladin. Paladins are not just fighters with different powers.

Since Rangers and Rogues are listed as the lowest "worst" played... does it mean they are better played in general ?

I voted Rogue. Does every rogue HAVE to be a pickpocket that steals even from his own party?

We rotate DM's and so far the theif has been played this way in each and every campaign we've ran. It's sooo disgustingly boring.

The campaign after next I'm playing a Dwarven Rogue just to show everybody that a rogue doesn't have to be a theif.

He's more the type you'd hire to break into your house and tell you why it was so easy to get in and then help you fix your security. There are more class skills for a rogue than skill points even with a fairly hight INT. You can pick the 8, 9, or maybe 12 skills to build a rogue. Why not have a tomb raider type rogue, or a cat burglar, or maybe even a scout/spy. You don't have to be a pickpocket klepto....
