Sorry, I honestly wasn't meaning to be a jerk. Krynn's gods, as presented, are not the "love thy neighbor" type gods. They're the old Testament, or ancient mythology like Greek mythology, view of deities in that they are flawed, they are vindictive and, when they are unhappy, they have zero problem with spreading that unhappiness around.

And, unlike most D&D settings, the gods in Krynn are VERY present. They don't just work through their followers, they actually take a direct hand in influencing events. The Krynn gods are not faraway beings hanging out in whatever plane they happen to like. They are in your face, striding the land and reshaping the world regularly.
