What does divine/cosmic/transcendental effect actually look like when used?

I figured it looks like what ever the deity feels like, since the divine blast ability (which it's based off) works that way.

Well I guess the short answer is pick your favourite anime/comic/video-game energy burst.

The best drawn blast I can think of is the One-Punch Man Gamma Ray Burst. For those who want to do a Google image search.

Hey Veritasinpersonam! :)

Hah, how would you model One-Punch Man's absurd feats in IH?

I would have said you already can use the IH to model OPM feats.

Saitama is a Greater God (I won't spoil why that is, for those not following the fan theory about who all the characters in OPM are). Although obviously the manga doesn't conform with D&D power levels for such things.

He does sneeze and blow most of Jupiter's surface off its core, which I think is something beyond a Greater God and more akin to a Neutronium Golem (and of course that is still not him at full power). But I think I only have those golems around Divine Rank 11 (of 30).

While its one of my favourites, I don't think its at the top in terms of power. I think it might be trickier modelling some of the feats in Bobobo or Chowder. But hopefully I can duplicate every possibility for the new 5E book.

I have a character with a CR of 757. He only has 60 HD and Intermediate Deity status, but that's because he's a fairly intense lateral build with about 8 different templates, a bunch of extra abilities from assimilating creatures of HD/Levels equal to or less than his own (I gimped the Assimilate ability in that regard), and a bunch of pun pun-esque cheese that's by RAW technically legal.

Anyway, my point being, he easily clears at least 2 trillion points of damage from a single punch, so the things Saitama can do really don't surprise me, even at just Greater Deity tier. Highly specialized characters can be nasty.
It does make me wonder though. How well would One Punch Man be able to take his own physical attacks? My character is tough, but if he had to face himself, he'd die very swiftly. As he currently is, even one punch from his own fist would kill him outright were he not Transmortal.

Do you think Saitama might be the same?

Saitama did make a punch so fast he went back in time and hit his target before they attacked him. Not sure what level that is though!

Hey FEBF buddy!

Will probably be a bit of a glass cannon then.

Absolutely.

That's a question only ONE (The OPM Writer) can answer. I think what's more likely is Saitama's durability is even greater than his Strength and that when he eventually does face a worthy opponent (likely "GOD") its going to be an epic fight.
