What does your party have?

Aballister - Sun Elf Wizard 14, Rapier, loves Sonically Sub. Firebrand, and Chain Lightning
Nikolai - Dwarven Rogue 14, Short Sword of Subtlety or +3 Short Sword or a Staff of Fire, he tumbles into combat and deals massive amounts of SA damage.
Ciddo - Gnome Druid 13, Adamantine +2 Defending Scimitar, he loves the Empowered Flame Strikes
Celdrane - Human Cleric 10, +1/+1 Holy/Frost Quarterstaff, Pretty typical bucket-o-healing
Celedore - Wild Elf Barbarian, +1 Cold Iron Anarchic Halberd, rages, kills things, pretty common barbarian *currently very much dead*

Wizard 13 - Spells, spells, more spells and sometimes empowered spells via the metamagic rod (oh and if really hard pressed a +1 dagger)

Wizard's cohort: fighter 6 / devoted defender 3 - Bastard Sword +something
has the spring attack chain and combat reflexes so if he is protecting someone he can make an attack and get back to his "charge" oh and he has a mighty bow (+4 str) and a +1 bow - chain shirt and shield

Monk 13 - Ki focused staff that I think is cold iron shod - she mostly just kicks people in the head though...

Cleric 13 - Cleric of Heironeous - Flaming Burst Long Sword and the occasional spell. She's much more about the glory of the test of arms then the holy miracles. Wears plate and a big shield

Paladin 13 - Worships Heironeous - Holy Long Sword and Plate and big shield

Halfling Rogue 11 / Bard 2 - small rapier, light cross bow and occasionally a dagger. She's wearing leather armor (don't know what + and I think her rapier might be something nasty and not "fair" to the receiver but the rest of the group hasn't noticed so we haven't had to talk to her about it.

Elf deep wood sniper - I don't know how exactly his levels break out but he has some ranger and fighter levels and then became a deepwood sniper. He's character level 14. He has a holy bow that the character doesn't know is holy and if he's closed in on, he fights with two master work daggers. Only time I've ever seen him draw the knives was for a trial by combat when we captured someone who tried to lure us to our deaths and then escaped.

In the game I'm running (and should be working on right now), we have:

Robilar (Hmn Ftr1/Clr1[Pelor]): sword and board, with a nice suit of plate; unfortunately, the party has been getting ambushed at night by orc raiders and the poor lad always ends up fighting in his leathers...

Judah (Hmn Pal2): again, sword and board; he's got himself a crossbow as well. with his uber-charisma he's a holy terror when he unleashes his smite.

Milo (Hlf Rog2): rapier and crossbow; however, i think he's managed to make exactly ONE (1) attack roll since the campaign started, due to bleeding out as soon as he takes his first knock from the enemy... i think he's starting to realize that he's not a front-line fighter, though. one can hope, anyway...

Sword-of-Damascus (Hmn Hex2): this cat uses grapples and unarmed combat exclusively (well, i think he has a sap). this hexblade doesn't even own a blade, or any lethal-damage weapon at all. i believe he intends on PrCing into a Dragon Disciple.

I'm still looking for another player... (hint hint) :)

Five characters, all human

1 Ranger (hates all gods, nearly worships elves, is convinced she has elf-blood in her veins)
1 Cleric (follower of the God of the Restful Dead and BELIEVER -- preaches constantly)
1 Holy Warrior (follower of the War God; quietly faithful and kicka** in combat)
1 Wizard (Diviner speciality, and dresses from Dare To Be Dull)
1 Rogue/Wanderer (more of a con man than anything else, with an instinct for survival)

Makes for an interesting group -- they all hover right around 6th level.

I play in two campaigns and DM one.

This one I DM. It started in late 1999 under 1e, not 2e rules, and continues under 3.5 rules:
1. Dwarven cleric 16 - uses spells and a dwarven thrower hammer
2. Halfling rogue 16 - uses a +3 light crossbow with the rapid reload feat
3. Human barbarian 9/sorcerer 2/dragon disciple5 (approx.) - uses a frost brand greatsword
4. Human wizard 14/cleric 1 - uses spells

This one I play in. It's Ravenloft:
1. Human cleric 3 - masterwork quarterstaff
2. Human fighter 3 - greatsword and his warhorse's hooves
3. Human bard 3 - pistol
4. Halfling rogue1/fighter 2 - masterwork shortsword and dagger

This one I play in. It's sort of Greyhawk - at least, we use the map and some of the world history.
1. Elf cleric 6/wizard (necromancer specialist) 3 - Spells and a +2 scythe. Both fairly ineffectual, curse the multiclassing spellcasting rules.
2. Dwarf fighter 9 - Masterwork greataxe
3. Half-Elf bard8/rogue1 - Almost always his rapier and song. Most of his spells are non-combat. Or this funky artifact that the DM just grafted onto his hand. Yeah, I know, an artifact and we're level 9.
4. Human monk 9 - Fists, feet, and bo staff.

I play in 2 and DM in one as well.

Planescape (I DM, avg level 9-10):
Gnome telepath psion; uses powers
Tiefling fighter/rogue, falchion
Human wizard, uses spells
Dwarf fighter, greataxe
Elf fighter, two-handed sword
Aasimar barbarian/cleric, falchion or two-handed sword
Human druid, uses spells or natural weapons in wildshape

Ravenloft (I play, avg level 7-8)
Half-elf bladesinger, long sword
Human red wizard, uses spells
Dwarf wizard, uses spells
Human fighter, crossbow
Human cleric, uses spells
Human cleric, uses spells
Caliban (ie, half-orc) forsaker, greataxe

Forgotten Realms (I play, avg level 5-6)
Human rogue/fighter, two weapons (currently short swords)
Elf wizard, uses spells
Elf monk, punches
Dwarf fighter, greataxe
Halfling rogue/wizard, uses spells
Aasimar cleric, uses spells

City-based campaign, along the lines of a fantasy version of Neverwhere, with the light side and shadow sides of the city. We're a team of investigators. We've got...

Human Paladin/Rogue with a rapier (me)
Half-Elf Rogue/Ranger/Master Sleuth, fights with a long sword and a short sword (IIRC)
Human Monk/Sorcerer/Arcane Fist, fights with her fists
Human Rogue, fights with a bastard sword
Human Barbarian, fights with a greataxe or a greathammer, depending on opponent
Human Wizard/Arcane Order, fights with magic... and his mongoose
Mongoose Fighter, fights with his teeth, familiar of another PC
Human Fighter/Monk, fights with a two-bladed sword
Human Cleric of a goddess of war and storms, fights with a scythe

Lots of humans... hadn't noticed that before. Huh.

Elves of Evermeet epic level game:

Bryssendi, de facto ringmaster of the circus, Rog 9/Bard 13, some fey-touched template with nifty magic powers. Spells, UMD, singing, and a rapier..."If it comes down to me poking something with this, we're all dead."

Alyne, Sor 24. Summoning machine, Disintegrate, Enervation, etc...

Thaleles Half-celestial Clr 20. Spells, spells, spells. Lots of really thumping spells.

Andril, human Rog 10/Spymaster 14. Not sure those levels are right. Sneak attack daggers in the back. A gather info machine, and easily inserted into enemy ranks.

Averis Blackthorne, NPC Unfettered Champion of Life and Elves from AU. Moonblade wielder, using the most prized artifact in elven history, a 15 rune Moonblade. Also has a 2nd weapon for TWQuisinarting.

Roland, Half-elf Unfettered 12/Mageblade 12, also from AU. Mageblade class is houseruled to get Bard spell progression and the wizard's list. A bewildering kalidiscope of weaponry: Melinda the Athame, +5 Dancing, defending, arcane blasting, spellcasting, skill granting, telepathic, 17th level cohort longsword. I also have TWF, Quickdraw, 2 gloves of storing, Rapier of Puncturing, Short of Subtlety, Spellstoring dagger, and a multitude of mundane weapons. Also a Rod of Quicken and Maximize, to touch up the spellcasting. In case you can't tell, this one's mine.

PS

Faerun Game I Play In-

Avellios Moonwhisper, elven ftr 2/rog 2- primarily uses +1 keen rapier, but has a back up rapier and a dagger as well.

Torchia- human 4th level monk, uses fists with dragon-tooth knuckles and occaissionally a magic staff he found.

Somethingorother- drow druid 4. No clue what she uses in battle, joined the group today and we didn't have a single combat.

D20 Modern Shadowchasers game I run-

Sid Koelbel- strong hero 3/battlemind 1- uses fists and psychic mojo. Works as a starving artist, and has a bizarre tattoo growing on his shoulder. Rehabilitated LSD addict.

Chris Duncan-Smart Hero 3/Techie 1 The son of an affluent programmer, Chris decided to carve his own niche in life and served for a while as a construction worker, where he learned how to use explosives. Now serves as an engineer... when he isn't fighting angry dopplegangers. Primarily uses a pistol, though now and then he'll buy some grenades for difficult opponents.

Bob Barker- Fast Hero 3/Gun Slinger 1- Very skilled with 2-gun mojo, used to work for Fed-ex... before a fire-spewing demon clone of sid blew up his old truck.

Allie Something Or Other- Smart Hero 3/Occultist 1- Creepy lady who regularly researches the arcane and the occult. Weapon of choice seems to be seduction and that mad voodoo she do so well.

Let's see...

Xagunder MacFaileas, Noble (from Green Ronin) 10/Necromancer 5/Mindbender 10, uses daggers.

His cohort, Acrobat (Fantasy Flight Games) 20, uses a spiked chain.

Odoquark, Druid/Rogue/Shifter/Warshaper uses different creatures' abilities, primarily elementals, flesh- and bone oozes, and beholders.

Squeek, the Sorcerer/Archmage/Elemental Master uses spells, mainly greater shout, disintegrate, and magma burst.

Arcady the Assassin (Green Ronin)/Assassin (Wotc) uses short swords.

And Crossbones the Bear, the Half-Emerald Dragon/Half-Firbolg Dire Werebear uses his claws, bite, and wings.
