What happened to a 3d VTT?

I wouldn't put too much faith in Cryptic Studios.

I am eager to see "The Foundry" that will be added to Startrek Online and is basicaly their first take on UGC with the Cryptic Engine. It's already in Closed Beta Test.

Cryptic has a bad reputation, and I wouldn't see it is undeserved, but they are working and improving a lot of things these days. It seems they got the message that a good "time to market" might not be sufficient anymore and they actually have to look at their quality.
