Pathfinder 1E What happens when a divine caster casts an arcane spell?

Can't seem to find any references to this. Got an oracle playing in our party. He's level 12. He's wearing
an agile breastplate that says it has a 25% arcane failure rate. He's also using a light shield with a 5%
arcane failure rate.

Something in his build gives him Telekinesis, a wizard/sorcerer 5 spell, and he's been using it quite a bit.

So when he casts it, because its an arcane spell, does the percentage from the breastplate and shield
kick in, or not - since he is a divine class?

Thanks.

Unless his build somehow gives him Arcane spellcasting abilities, I'd say his TK spell is Divine, like all of his other spells. It would still use WIS for DC's and bonus spells, too.

If he is casting it as a spell-like ability, then those don't have arcane spell failure. If he is casting it as a divine spell, ASF doesn't apply either.

A disaster of Biblical proportions; Old Testament, real wrath-of-God-type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes! Volcanoes! The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! MASS HYSTERIA!

For the record, Telekinesis is granted to any Oracle with the Haunted curse, at tenth level.

And as mentioned, spells themselves are never inherently arcane or divine; it is merely that some spells are more easily accessed by one type of caster or another.
