I would definitely be Chaotic Good. If I were in a D&D setting, I would definitely have levels in Expert and Bard, with maybe one or two in Warrior.

Strength would be my lowest score - prolly 7 or 8... I'm pathtic, I know :) Dexterity and Wisdom would be somewhere around average, maybe a 10 and 11. My Constitution and Charisma would be somewhat high, I would guess around 13 to 14. Intelligence would be somewhere around 14 or 15.

Ok let's see.

Male Human Vaguely Attempting Expert 1 (Multiclassing into Wizard if the option becomes available)

Wis 12 (-2 to all short-term memory checks)
Cha 12 (I'd go lower, but goddammit people like me!... Or think I'm insane...)

The greatness of I cannot be expressed in terms of ability scores and feats!

Plus, some of you guys must have bonked a lot o' kobolds....

I mean, by-the-book, none of us should have more than about 3 levels unless we were in a war. Maybe more if using some of the questionable systems about XP award for surviving a year.

I'd venture to say most of us are Experts, with a few scatterings of Warriors and Commoners for the more athletic/military trained/whatever amongst us.

Noteriety is no factor of levels. Tom Cruise might be an Expert with a high Charisma, but he wouldn't nessecarily be high level (though some of his characters probably would be. :))

Anyhoo, it's all in good fun. But I'd like to see a few less mutliclass 5+ level characters out there, man. Some of us certainly have high opinions of ourselves.

I'd hate to be an adventurer in a world populated with EN board members....I'd get my butt kicked by dweebs. ^_^

Well lets see if you take into account the fact that most of us have had 13 years schooling. a good bit of us have had more. Now personally I've been capable of telling the idiots from the smart people since first grade. Take into the account that I actually listen to god which gives me a divine intervention towards wisdom and Int and I probably am 6th level.

Now you must be thinking that the only way to gain exp is fighting... bah what a roll player. I manipulate, explore, argue, flirt, and interact with the people around me. Now Yes I do have a high opinion of myself, but trust me it is well deserved. I worked hard to gain my abilities. Lets see 18 years of schooling, 12 years in the scouts, having parents mentor me rather than me learning on my own, plus I learn on my own. That just lists training it has nothing to do with experince, and trust me I've been manipulating and fighting since first grade. I know that if I can achieve it someone else can.

I think my abilities and personality definately fit those of a paladin with possibly a few levels of wizard, but my skills (archery, unarmed combat, various knowledges) definately seem to point to monk. I suppose I could be an LG monk :) Although not above level 3, I certainly don't slow fall, LoL. Yea, that's me, LG Monk 3 / Wiz 1, and my feats would be proficiency: recurve bow, point blank shot, and rapid shot.

Myself, let's see.....

Human, Ft 6, Commoner 2
Str: 10 (16 if restoration or regeneration is cast)
Con: 15
Dex: 14
Int: 15
Wis: 9
Cha: 12

Feats: Weapons (Modern), Armor (Modern), Weapon Focus (M-203 40mm Grenade Launcher), Specialization (M-203), Specialization (Glock-17L), Combat Reflexes, Last Man Standing

Skills: Knowledge (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Weapons) +10, Knowledge (Computers) +4, Knowledge (Abnormal Psychology) +3, Knowledge (Human Behavior) +8, Craft (Unconventional Weaponry) +6, Pilot (Forklift) +4, Pilot (Crane) +2, Pilot (Military Vehicles) +1, Dancing -8, Diplomacy (Sober) +3, Diplomacy (Drunk) -1150, Seduction +2, Knowledge (Game Mechanics) -4, Pissing People Off In General +150

Equipment Commonly Carried: Wallet full of crap, shoes, shirt, pants, socks.
Equipment carried during adventuring: Brass Knuckles, pen, picture of your sister.

Warlord Ralts can commonly be found in his front yard, drinking Long Island Ice Teas anytime after 9AM, and watching his dog get stupider. When engaged in combat, he commonly strikes to maim or kill, so he can go back to being nothing more than your average neighbor.

I couldn't resist poking fun at myself through this whole thing. It's what I wish, probably not what I am.:D

Eh, I'd say Clr1. Maybe adept, if we'd like to stick with NPC classes.

Aren't most basic PC's considered to have basically finished their initial training? 13+ years of schooling, yeah I can see that as being rudimentary training.

Now you must be thinking that the only way to gain exp is fighting... bah what a roll player. I manipulate, explore, argue, flirt, and interact with the people around me. Now Yes I do have a high opinion of myself, but trust me it is well deserved. I worked hard to gain my abilities. Dude, just 'cuz I go by the book doesn't make me a "roll player"

Nor is that nessecarily a bad thing. :)

If you wanna use some variant XP systems, that's all well and good, but I think it's pretty questionable how much XP someone gets for working hard.

We could, in theory, use the XP-by-age systems on Mr. Reynold's (I probably spelt that wrong) page or here, if we want, but it's not really that important to get it accurate.

Anyhoo, the events in your life have probably been mirrored in anybody else's life. Most anybody is mentored in some things, gets a bit on their own, gets in a few childhood scuffles...

Basically, ages birth-late teens are considered "apprentice" until you're level 1. I think that Regdar as a youth got in scuffles, joined the Hawkscouts, and, heck, 'cuz he's Reggie, he probably had Stifler's Mom. ;)

I'm not saying you shouldn't have a high opinion of yourself, but me no think you can Cleave at age 7. If so, I'd hate to see the toddlers in your campaign. :)

Actually, scratch that. I would love to see them. I have a few PC's that could use a good ol' fashioned first-grade smack down. :)

And can you imagine the kids in more dangerous regions of the world? Orcs wouldn't stand a chance against the squadron of 12-year-old girls that are LV3 wizards that would wipe them out. :)

I'm being facietious, and far be it from me to get into an argument about how to depict yourself in a ficticious game world, but I just can't really seriously buy any real-world person translated to being much more than a low-level mook in a world of heroic fantasy.

We ain't heroic. We ain't fantastic. Our songs won't be sung by minstrels.

Maybe I'm wrong. It really doesn't matter. Maybe we're using different methods of translation (e.g.: What I'd Like to Be when Heroic vs. What I Am, Really). But methinks you may have more than a little problem wrastlin' a polar bear (CR 4, not a big deal for a 6th-lve character)...am I wrong?

Nope, it all depends on PR and who is writing history. Greatness can only be defined on the winners terms, or if you have what it takes to stand on the threshold of destiny, and not blink.

Plus, some of you guys must have bonked a lot o' kobolds....

I wouldn't call them kobolds, but once I sobered up, they were pretty homely......

I mean, by-the-book, none of us should have more than about 3 levels unless we were in a war.
Been there, done that, didn't even get a lousy T-shirt. (Although I got some really cool scars and free drinks at the NCO club!)

Surviving a year in war or in life (which is kind of a war. Every morning you wake up is a victory)
I'd venture to say most of us are Experts, with a few scatterings of Warriors and Commoners for the more athletic/military trained/whatever amongst us.
I beg to differ. I'd eat a warrior for lunch.

Tom Cruise (control) is a wuss, and so are most of his characters, IMHO
Anyhoo, it's all in good fun. But I'd like to see a few less mutliclass 5+ level characters out there, man. Some of us certainly have high opinions of ourselves.
Of course. I am the master of my own destiny. I have laid my hands upon the wheel of fate, stolen free will for myself, and let chance decide who my parents would be, and ill-thought out choices make me what I am today.
I am the future, baby!
I'd hate to be an adventurer in a world populated with EN board members....I'd get my butt kicked by dweebs. ^_^
Well, every year some people's paychecks show this. ::rolleyes:: every year people cry that nobody seems to care. If it was a world populated by people like me.....
WE'D ALL KILL EACH OTHER! THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!!!!

(Besides, if I'm a PC in someone's lame ass game, I WILL find that DM, and I will shove his head up a donkey's butt, because he has a LOT to answer for.....
Like who invented liquid soap and why, why do people taste like pork, and what does chicken really taste like?)

Mr. Rats...er...Ralts?

You've won the dubious honor of becoming an NPC in my game...

...something about a drunken insulting neighbor who was once an adventurer and who wants those kids to get off his lawn is quite hilarious to me. :)
