Phantasy Star would be a great RPG, I actually made a PS0-based RPG built on 4e D&D rules, but my computer crashed and I lost everything. Kind of took all the wind out of that project.

That's not XCOM. XCOM has a very detailed tactical system that SW is not up to depicting.
