What about the Disney Afternoon stuff? Or is stuff like Gargoyles and Talespin too character focused to work?
I think they're gameable; I also think no one's going to be willing to pay disney for them.
Does Redwall have a TTRPG?
Unlicensed, but yes: Wanderhome. Explicitly lists Redwall as a major influence.
Mouse Guard is similar genre, but licensed from the comics of the same name; it's not a "redwall" game. Plus, it's more fight-focused.
Is there an RPG out there with a focus on rescueing people? Preferably with sci-fi gadgetry Something like Thunderbirds
or even Rescue Heroes
or Burning Ranger
? (or Tomica Heroes
if you want to go obscure) I feel like that's a vein that hasn't really been tapped yet? Maybe the Transformers RPG needs a Rescue Bots
The core for Cortex Prime includes a clear knockoff of Thunderbirds are Go.
Necromunda - For those of you who don't know, Necromunda was a skirmish level table top miniatures war game released by Games Workshop originally released in 1995. The game takes place in the underhive, the lower portions of a hive city, massive structures plumbing the depths of the planet and kilometers into the sky, and the players control their own gangs vying for territory and power. Like a lot of GW properties, it's the setting is rich, interesting, and there's a lot of things you can do in Necromunda.
Already doable in the current 40K RPG line. Doable with the Dark Heresy ruleset, too, and one of the published canonical adventures is set on a hive world.
Pirates of the Caribbean, if you can get ship combat to work.
Not quite licensed for PotC, but Pirates of the Spanish Main (a standalone Savage Worlds setting) is licensed from the CSG of the same name. Last I checked (sept) was apparently still available in PDF.
Back in the day, my group would have said "you are temporarily playing Wooden Ships and Iron Men".
Which would have been a good choice...
I browsed the Wikipedia entry and this actually looks intriguing with no GM or prep. I got dibs on Crazy Joe Devola in Pollachi disguise. Costanza all struck me as the secret serial killer in the group
I feel like Kramer might know a serial killer or two.
But Costanza's just too incompetent at everything.
