I want Guardinals and Rilmani in.

Not to mention Kaorti, Ethergaunts and Psurlons (to add an extra dimension to conflict involving the Githyanki).

Yeah, I don't see them statting up Tharizdun—being a got that require a coalition of other gods to lock away. I also doubt that we'll see Queen of Chaos or Miska the Wolf Spider.

But, to add to your list—the Slaad lords Ssendam, Ygorl, Wartle (and maybe the later additions Chourst, Rennbuu, and Bazim-Gorag). Primus, and the rest of the Modrons that weren't in the MM.

IIRC, 4e had a cool Astral Kraken that could be cool to see updated.

Primus? Maybe Mimirs? High level Fey lords/ladies? There's so many things but nothing particular comes to mind.

Gargantuan Flumph Swarm!

EDIT: Genie Lords could also be great, or anything elemental really. Outside PotA, I've not seen many elemental creatures.

Much of what I wanted to see in once the release was announced has since been confirmed to be in. Of what hasn't been announced, I would really like to see the archons, guardinals, and hierarch modrons appear...

Remember the Inevitables from 3E? That was a cool concept that I'd like to see continued. 4E was calling them "maruts" or something, but it just wasn't the same.

More or less in order: Guardianals, OG Slaad lords (and golden slaadi), some templates* (celestial, clockwork, aberrant), phoenix, archfey, (probably the most unlikely of my requests to be fulfilled) a couple of higher end celestials, Lolth, piscoloths, Gehreleths, hydroloths, 4e style angels (if they want, they can make them into archons), retrievers, one higher end yugoloth, and CR 8 and 9 elemental myrmidons (8 as casters and 9 as warlords).

* it sounds like there will be a bunch of cult features that amount to templates for demons and devils.

From my perspective there are a lot of misconceptions about the big T. When I did my research for a 5e update of Tharizdun I only found one official stat block and he as a low level god (low end intermediate if I remember correctly). Just because a god is on a course to bring out the destruction of the universe doesn't mean they are, themselves, particularly powerful on an individual combat basis. Though his only official stats had him similar in power to Tiamat (who has been stated in every edition I believe), I too doubt he will be stated.

Yeah he only has the power of an intermediate god because he is trapped.

I also am 99% sure he is not going to be in the book. Maybe a mention but I doubt even that.

Everything I wanted, I put in the Planar Bestiary. I'd perhaps like to see some faction agents, along with however they update the Sigil factions.

That could be, and that is generally how I've thought of it. However, I just checked and the Dragon article doesn't say. It mentions that he is imprisoned, but doesn't say anything about his stats being diminished because of it. He has a divine rank of 11 (20 being the max), in the article.

Not to derail the thread, but I'm pretty sure his power has diminished since the time he was imprisoned, since he has few worshipers (and a deity's power is often linked to the number of worshipers it has). Being imprisoned makes it harder to obtain worshipers and also to grant Cleric spells.

Extraplanar beasties would make my day. I’d love to see the Astral Dreadnought return.

Also, since Volo’s brought back some Fiend Folio monsters, it’d be cool to see some from the 1e MMII return.

I left a few out that I want, such as the Bladelings, Arcane/Mercane (who appeared in both Spelljammer and Planescape), Lillend, Psurlon, and Hordlings. Oh, who am I kidding, put the kitchen sink it!
