Turanil's thread "Whose PC is this?" got me thinking... What movie or book has inspired the most PC's in your group?

For me, curiously enough, it's "The Mummy." Curiously, because it's not really a "Fantasy" movie, and its not a "great" movie - very fun, and pulpy, but not great in the vein of "Raiders of the Lost Ark", for example.

There have been a couple of characters based off of Evie in my groups, I've based one off of Ardeth Bey, I think someone's done one roughly off of Evie's brother. I've even played a character who was somewhat inspired by the old British pilot who was yearning for one last fight.

You'd think it would Lord of the Rings, or Star Wars. But no, it's "The Mummy." Go figure.

Well, there's Indiana Jones and a couple others... there isn't one movie I get a bunch of characters from.

For the current game, the two movies that have had the greatest impact are Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Three Musketeers (1970s version).

Slight nods should also be given to The Mission and The Mask of Zorro.

We're kinda running swashbucklers-in-the-jungle-explore-lost-cities...

In my last campaign, one of my players played a sorcerer based on Magneto from X-Men II. He was a force-based sorcerer, and had some spells tailored to recreate effects from that movie, like when he used those little iron beads to destroy the prison.
