What race is the Wizard in your group? (take II)

In the game I'm playing in, the wizard is indeed an elf. In the game I'm DMing, the wizard's a warforged. Other wizards I've seen since playing 3e include a human wizard, a half-elf wizard, and a pseudodragon wizard.

Depends on the game.

In game #1 (WLD), there is a gnome Wizard/Meister and a pixie Warmage.

In game #2 (Eberron), there is a human wizard.

In game #3 (Living Greyhawk), our regular group has a dwarven wizard and/or human wizard at high levels, and a halfling wizard (conjurer) and/or human wizard (evoker?) at low levels.

The one online game I play does not have a wizard or sorcerer, I think.

We're on break from the campaign right now but I was initially playing a Tiefling wizard but retired him about 2 sessions before we took a break. I still consider him in the group because he's used as a contact and I'll bring him back if my current character dies. If we even start playing again... :\

Our party doesn't currently have a wizard, but the last wizard we had was a high elf. He tended to concentrate on cold-based spells, and had a Small air elemental as a familiar.

The last campaign I played in had a gnome (PHB) wizard, two dwarven (PHB) wizards and a couple of human (IK subrace, I'm not sure which) wizards. The only elven arcanist was a sorceress.

Currently I'm DMing a low magic, humans and goblins only campaign - no wizards allowed!

I picked both human and elf. In one game, there's an elf cleric/wizard (mostly wizard) and I'm playing a human wizard in a different game.

I've answered for all my recent campaigns: dwarf, half-elf, elf, human and aasimar. I include multiclasses but exclude the dwarf sorceror/psion and the halfling sorceror. I haven't seen any reluctance to play an elf wizard.
