Human. All the PCs are Human right now.

We've lost an Elf, a Dwarf, and a Tiefling (and a bunch of Humans... bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!)

I voted for the campaign in which I'm a player, where my PC is a gnome wizard.

I've been playing her for a month and I'm quickly coming to the conclusion gnomes rock as wizards. The con bonus means I'm close on HP with the party fighters and fort is my second highest save. With a Heward's Handy Haversack the strength penalty hasn't come into play at all yet. Also I'm small and light enough for our goliath fighter to pick me up and carry me around while still in a light load if speed becomes important, or if we need to climb or swim anywhere

In the campaign I DM we have two characters with wizard levels- one human, one PHB elf (although he is more a fighter-wizard, the human character is straight caster.)

Hey, great minds think alike My gnome illusionist just aquired, eh befriended , a goliath barbarian/bard. He has a sucky AC and who is aming for Dragon Disciple. As long as i cast Displacemnet (he's got something like AC 9 when raging) he's happy to vcarry me around. We get to go around been called Master-Blaster in honor of the guys in Mad Max III

Our group wizard is a gnome. Poor thing is the subject of many roleplaying jokes, since he is the smallest in stature, rides on his fox familiar a lot, and is constantly tinkering around with stink bombs.

I guess someone should ask why? Why did you make up a X raced Wizard- was it concept, or the world or what.

The reason why I play a human wizard is concept I guess.

Our wizard was my vary arcane-friendly/-knowledgable bard (and he was olven, Merric ).

Various multi-classed (mostly arcane prestige) wizards (some died off, about 3 - 4 total), all human

I play two games a week, with two seperate groups. In one, I play a warforged wizard. The other, while I am playing an elven rogue, the arcane spellcaster is a human sorceror. *shakes a fist at those pesky sorcs*

In 3E we briefly had a wizard who was an elf, but he didn't stay in the group long, and we never had another one.
