What RPG's do you want to talk about?

Back in the day....

We played twice a month.

The first Sunday was always a game BESIDES the normal. We did anything from board games to card games to Car wars. Did some Armor wars and Heroclix also. I miss the variety of those days.

The third Sunday was always Greyhawk.

Before that group I was in a group that played Torg which was excellent and some CoC and a bit of Shadowrun.

Most of these games are non-D20 which is why I rarely speak of them here.

I've been a fan of Shadowrun for a long time. I have over half the books for each edition, and I think I am only missing 2 or 3 of the current edition. I have everything up through Seattle.

Never played Torg, but it seems everyone who has played it enjoyed doing so.

Pathfinder didn't work exactly how I need it for my commercial campaign, so I changed the rules, but kept it Pathfinder. Some spells don't work, some new spells had to be created. Some mechanics didn't fit, so I replaced those mechanics. Some classes didn't fit, so I invented new ones.

The Gift, Curse of the Golden Spear Part 1 is the result!

Its Pathfinder, yes, but its also Kaidan, and it doesn't work like most worlds...

Torg is a blast. It has only three marks against it: the books are getting physically old, some of the sci-fi and future history elements are rather dated, and the rules never did get a proper revision (with all due respect to Kansas Jim). I always thought it was insane WEG didn't produce a D6 version to pimp their D6 line after they lost Star Wars.

Glad to see your finally getting this done! Since I love L5R I'll have to check this out.

I'll talk Savage Worlds anytime (any setting). I just love that little system.

I've played it some, even ran the Fantasy supplement of it for a few weeks. I find I prefer CORTEX more. Hopefully I will like it better once I am able to do the Soloman Kane game.

I'll be blunt - I do not like Cortex at all. But best of time to you for Soloman Kane. I just picked up and expansion for it.
