D&D 5E What settings would you like to see in 5e?

Sacrosanct

Legend
With the recent Adventures In Middle Earth 5e book that came out (basically The One Ring converted to the 5e OGL), what additional famous settings would you like to see use the 5e system?

Middle Earth is much lower magic than traditional D&D, but it looks like the folks at Cubicle 7 did an excellent job using 5e mechanics while maintaining MIddle Earth flavor. Seriously, it's a great book.

So that got me thinking. What other worlds would I like to play 5e in? And how hard would it be to modify race/classes/magic to do so?

I think the top of the list is:

Shannara
David Eddings' Belgariad/Mallorean world

I think those are both doable. Shannara druids are basically eldritch blast spamming with a few other abilities, and later books introduced other magic and monsters that would fit well.

I thought about KingKiller, but I'm not sure how you would convert naming magic in a 5e system.

I really enjoyed the breadth of Raymond Feist's Midkemia. Lots of great locations in that world.

Erickson's (and Esselmont's) world from Malazon Book of the Fallen series. I think that the Warren magic would be hard to replicate in 5E though.

Also Cook's Black Company world and Martin's Game of Thrones world both of which should be relatively easy to bring to 5E. I also want Dragonlance.

Also Bakker's Second Apocalypse Series world would be cool as well.

It would be a bit tricky because it's not a really good match for 5e, but I would love love love to see the world of "Sunless Sea" made into an RPG....

GoT would work better with OSRIC or another 1e clone. You know, because 1e had the harlot tables and was all about murdering PCs--things GoT is all about :D ;)
