What time would you play an evening online 3 hour game session mid to long term?

Mid-week 8-11 is my preferred option (I often work until 6:30, sometimes 7, so 7-10 can be tight). On Fridays, 9-12 is also fine.

Work can go past 6 for me, so anything before that isn't really an option no matter how much I'd rather be gaming.

Also, it might be worth mentioning that lots of these options assume everyone is okay with eating dinner during play. Which isn't particularly controversial, but it needs to be understood by all that there will be side activities going on during play.

A Friday night 7/8-12 session would be fantastic. Four solid hours with a break and some social time. Sometimes my 7-10 session doesn’t feel like it has room to breathe. And if you get sidetracked that three hour slot disappears quickly.

I quite like the 9pm - 12am I do on Wednesday’s because I get less grief from my partner because we’ve still spent most of the evening together but it’s not too late for me to feel knackered getting up at 7:30am for work the next day.

I'm currently playing in a game that starts at 11:30 my time and goes to like 3 in the morning (on weekdays no less). An artifact of my moving many time zones. You take the hit if the game is good enough.

Right now I play twice a week from 9:30 to 12:30-1:00ish, which is later than I'd like, but I cope. (When it's not daylight savings, we're an hour earlier. Bliss.)

My long term sunday night game is online, running 19:30 to 00:00 Pacific most weeks. Sometimes, we run to 01:00, and rarely, to 01:30.
At times, we started earlier by an hour. But EO doesn't get off work until 17:00 AkT (18:00 Pacific), and needs time to drive home. It's 55 minutes or so for him to do so. (I know where his neighborhood is... only 10 min of that isn't highway speed.)

For me, the time isn't a big issue; for my players, tho', it is.

7-10, ish. Sometimes 715, usually end 1015-1030 depending on how long End of Session goes. Lets PST with flexibility show up.

I tend to fade out after 22:00. My regular weeknight online games are both 19:30 to 21:30, with overspill to 22:00 possible. We tend to go pretty fast, and two hours allows a satisfying session.
