What would you like to see done with racial trait ASIs?

Wait, you could vote two different options? This will totally skew the results against keeping the bonuses. There are only one option for keeping the racial bonuses and several different for getting rid of them in various ways. So everyone who wants to get rid of them can vote two different options while those in favour of keeping them can vote only one.
LOL you didn't read the OP then? I wrote you can vote twice in it.

This isn't a competition, it is to show where interest lies. That is the point of allowing multiple votes. And as I told @TwoSix , the option to float them doesn't remove them from race, it just allows them to be fluid.

For example, I am for either just keeping them (more or less) as is, OR just get rid of them entirely. Why? Because I don't want to see them float, I don't want to see them moved to class or background, and I really don't want to see the base array/ point-buy bumped either!

If you have them, make them static for the race as it is. If you can't be happy with that, then just get rid of them because they really aren't needed if no one has them.

But this will seriously skew the results.

How that is not removing them from the race? If they're not fixed then they're no longer meaningfully tied to the race!

UPDATE: Ok, so I added a second vote option for the people who want to double up on their choice. Vote once, and then vote again using the lower option.

Happy now? :D You can change your votes to reflect doubling up on the same one (basically) or split them if you like two options.

It was either a cap at 1 or 2 votes. I want people to make choices, not be able to vote for half the options because they are fine with whatever more or less.

By making it 2 votes, the idea was pick your favorite and a back-up you would be pretty much happy with as well.

The general point is either keep them or do something else with them or get rid of them.

I wanted to vote for options B, C, D, and E, because to me they're roughly equivalent.

As I write this, there are 18 votes for A, and in 2nd place is B with 6 votes. Which makes it look like keeping racial bonuses is 3x as popular as changing them.

But B through E combined have 19 votes! However, since I think it's reasonable to assume (YMMV) that people who like racial bonuses probably voted for A and none of B through E, and people who don't like racial bonuses probably voted for two choices from B through E, I'm guessing that about nine people are opposed to racial bonuses. So it's really more like 2:1.

(As an aside, the only reason I'm geeking out on this is that I think plurality voting is the single factor that most undermines and polarizes democracies. Voting methodology matters.)

Finally, the second option doesn't "get rid of them", it makes them float. ;)

Errr........

in any event, my (unserious) suggestion is to make the standard array 20, 16, 13, 12, 10, 8, and get rid of ASIs. Because everybody eventually gets there anyway, right?

Then I can just take cool feats instead of boring ASIs.
Actually, I think that’s a really cool idea. I would probably add more odd scores, though, to make feats with +1 ASI more interesting. Say 20, 15, 14, 13, 8, 7.

I wanted to vote for options B, C, D, and E, because to me they're roughly equivalent.
By E, you mean get rid of them entirely? How is that roughly equivalent to voting for B, C, or D?

Anyway, it's been fixed as now if someone wants to double-vote for the same option, they can.

Also, this isn't a competition, it is for exploring the popularity of options. If I just wanted a yes/no style of poll, I would have made it that way.

As I am replying, there are:
25 votes for option A and "A2"
6 for B
5 for C
3 for D
6 for E and "E2"
6 for F

It isn't hard to group them into:
25 votes - leave them alone
14 votes - do something else with them (float, class, or bump)
6 votes - just remove the ASI from race completely and forget them
6 votes - for sharing other ideas not covered above

So, 25 votes (nearly half overall of the cast votes, 51) vote to leave things alone.
A bit over 1 in 4 want to keep them in some other fashion
Etc.

This isn't a competition, it is to show where interest lies. That is the point of allowing multiple votes. And as I told @TwoSix , the option to float them doesn't remove them from race, it just allows them to be fluid.
And that’s fine, but you should be aware that your desire to remove racial bonuses because you think stats are too high is an idiosyncratic one. The rationale that most people are presenting is that racial bonuses should be removed because they object to the idea that race should pigeonhole characters into certain roles. You’re arguing about absence of bonuses, most people are arguing about absence of bonuses that are explicitly tied to race.
