They need to licence out a number of their setting to other companys for 4e, while only keeping a little editorial control.

Things like Spelljammer,Dark Sun, planescape, mystra-hollow world (I'd love a conversion to the old sytle racial classes for elves, dwarves for this setting, make it very unique).

I dont think any of these are big money spinners, but some could do quite well...

Yeah, it'd be fantastic to see Birthright, Dark Sun, and other settings come out, again, even if it isn't WotC that puts them out.

As for Points of Light, I'm a big fan of the idea myself. After all, I'm a Ravenloft fan. It's also reminiscent of the Warhammer Fantasy World (Hell, there's even a one-page short story in one of the books where they pretty much describe the whole points of light idea in a literal way. I oughta copy it and repost it around here, someday). Although I'll probably change up some of the gods a bit (I like Bahamut and Asmodeus, but I'd like to mix them in with a few others). Get rid of the Greyhawk gods except for maybe Vecna, dump Bane, bring in Tiamat, roll Corellon, Gruumsh, and Moradin into the standard pantheon, etc. I've also got an idea for mixing in a monotheistic god and having him compete against the usual D&D pantheon of gods.

I'd also like to create a world which is kind of similar to the Palladium Fantasy World, in that humans aren't the dominant race there, but competing with another up-and-coming race. If they're not careful, they may become another faded power, much like the elves and dwarves. I've always thought that idea was pretty interesting. Rather then having humans all over the place ruling the world, they've instead gotta fight for it. And not against dying races like elves or dwarves, a race of stupid brutes like orcs, or tiny weaklings like goblins, but against a race which is just as cunning, capable, and driven.

I plan to do a home brew, a world that has been ravaged by a terrible plague. Scattered settlements survive and the signs of the disease have at last faded away after 100 to 200 years. People are beginning to explore the ruins of what used to be the empires that controlled the world and seeking other survivors.

Then to Eberron when its released. I hope to see Ravenloft return again but if it does it I have all the books and can covert as needed from the 2e/3e sources.

Depends on what races appear in the Monster Manual appendix. If they give me gnomes, goblins, lizardfolk, minotaurs, and ogres, probably Taladas. If there are satyrs, maybe even Uresia.

I'd say Forgotten Realms without question, usually, but in this case I'm not so sure. I'm not at all happy about the proposed changes to the Realms in 4E. And this coming from a guy that absolutely loves everything he's heard about the 4E rules changes. Unfortunately, they're hammering the Forgotten Realms with the fist of an angry god in order to explain away the changes, and IMO, those changes are overkill.

Aside from that, I'm really hoping someone will put out a Ravenloft setting. Hopefully WotC will license it out to Arthaus, again, as they did a pretty good job with it. And besides, even if WotC were interested in bringing it back on their own, they've got this whole "One setting per year" schtick which would hold them back. Meaning that the absolute earliest they can put out a Ravenloft Campaign Setting book is 2010 (2008 for the Realms, and 2009 for Eberron). So however good a job they could possibly do, I'd rather Arthaus had the license, as they'd probably do it nearly as good, and sooner. But whether Ravenloft gets a setting book or not, I'll probably see about looking for a Ravenloft game not long after 4E comes out. I'm willing to convert it, myself, it it means I can play it.

Sword and Sorcery did a Ravenloft conversion for 3.5

As for me, I'll still be running my homebrewed world. The campaign we've been running for about five real years is coming to a close, and the game will reawaken 12 years later in the setting with new characters.
