What would you Play?

I personally have the most fun with psions, and go that route whenever I can. However, since Psion and tank don't go together ....

Psywarriors can be cool. As a bonus, they have a 2nd level power that enables them to heal themselves (but not others). Can be a very cool class, and it can be a tank with the right constitution.

Hey, stop quirking like that! You're only allowed to come in and start edition wars. Or at the very least express your hat. You can't suddenly leap in and appear sane... Such behaviour threatens the very fabric of the ENUniverse...
It's called ENiverse.

And the guy who is posting about the hulking hurler is actually diaglos stepmother.

 CL's been around a lot longer then the Realms....those deity whoring Realms.... :p

Corellon is officially a GH deity these days, although IMO the actual canon support in original GH material for the various Deities and Demigods racial deities is pretty poor. They're never mentioned in the 83 boxed set, and in fact other deities (Ehlonna, Ulaa, etc) are specifically called out as having demi-human followers.

Thus, in my GH game, Corellon, Moradin, etc., are not present.

Yes, that gives me a Lolth with a slightly different backstory.

I love my half-orc barbarian. I would be remiss to recommend anything else. With those stats I would

Str 16+2=18
Dex 16
Con 15
Int 14-2=12
Wis 13
Cha 11-2=9

When the time comes, you can drop an ability modifier point into Intelligence for wonderful Combat Expertise (unless you want it right away, IWC switch Con and Int). Not that you can CE while raging, but you can certainly Improved Trip while raging, and CE for the other hundred rounds of combat per day that you aren't raging.

have fun!

That's a good point. I always assumed the non-human deities in Deities & Demigods were in Greyhawk, though I guess that wasn't actually official until later on.
