Woot. Just got #0988 in from the WW warehouse.

Hope that CoB looks as fine as this baby does in hard copy.

I've seen most of the PDF files already and knew it was going to be a killer presentation.

For folks that pre-ordered and/or pick a copy up at your FLGS, your in for a real treat even if you already have copies of the originals. The maps are every bit as fantastic as has been claimed.

NPCs and maps in seperate books will be a great help to running this!

Some nice new artwork and a great cover!

Alright.. First of, and an important first of at that, note that it very well may be the best dungeon crawl module (if the term even applies to a box set of that magnitude) ever. Haven't read/played it, can't comment on that.

But I'd give 4-1 odds that a properly conducted poll of the average gamer would reveal it is neither the most famous, nor the most feared.

Otherwise, carry on.

So you honestly think RA is more famous than say the dungeons of Castle Greyhawk, or Undermountain, or Tomb of Horrors, Temple of Elemental Evil, etc? It may be better but it certainly isn't the most famous dungeon of all time. :\

Yes I think it it's well on par if not in some ways over it compared to Undermountain most certainly or the dungeons in Greyhawk. No one KNOWS but I'm sure it will be cheaper by far.

The average gamer hasn't heard of HALF the stuff that is truly good and thinks that anything non-WotC is "not offical enough" for their games. Even though the word offical has about as much meaning as dung.

About 60 to 65% of full retail. Even though Bill mentioned in the other RA thread that he MAY/MAYBE/MIGHT lower that.

So an "official" pdf price hasn't been decided upon.
