D&D General What's the least spookiest Wizard Subclass?

I think some of the abjuration spells can be sort of spooky. Invisible shields stopping things. Wards that make alarms sound. Symbols around the house doing gods know what.

The Evoker is the least spooky, because it's virtually all explody magic of some sort. You might be scared of being fried, but it's not at all spooky.

Abjuration is absolutely terrifying - just think about what the Imprisonment Spell can do, its full on buried alive/locked inside a tiny gem horror. Armour of Agathys turns your physical vassage to ice, Blade bariers allows you to grab swords with your bare hands, Alarms and Wards are all those little bits of unseen weirdness, then Banishment has you throwing creatures out of reality and Prismatic Wall is just brutal!

So yep another vote for the big flashy War Wizard

I think Conjurers can be spooky based on the fact they can summon some terrifying things like Fiends and Aberrations.

Diviners can be spooky just by knowing things they aren't supposed to know.

Enchanters can turn others against you, so that's scary.
