D&D (2024) What's Your 2026 WotC D&D Wishlist?

But the only one you challenged, and now challenged three times in this thread despite it not being a thread about this topic at all, is this one answer.

So, were you "just curious" or are you seeking an excuse to try and correct someone or argue with someone or challenge their preferences in some way?
I mean, you are the only one that took issue with the question. You can refuse to believe I was just curious all you want. I just thought ther emight be an interesting discussion in there. But you want to fight. I don't know what to tell you.

But paper solo play rules? IDK. I've never seen that done well except for choose your own adventure style modules, which tend to be simplistic and one-shot.
There are a ton of great solo RPGs out there. It is not just possible, but a thriving component of the hobby.

I didn't refuse to believe it. I asked you and you didn't answer. Twice.

I don't want a fight. You're the one who, when he got an answer (from cranberry), challenged that answer instead of just accepting the answer for what it was. Which prompted my question about if you were "just curious" that you didn't want to answer and then tried to turn it back on me.

Yeah. YOU, not the person I answered, decided that I was engaging in some nefarious doublespeak, instead of just asking a question. And now I have told you I was asking for the sake of discussion. I don't know what else to tell you, other than maybe take people at their word instead of looking to create conflict.

Man I asked you point blank twice. I don't know how much clearer I could have made it. It had a question mark on the end of each sentence and everything.

And now I have told you I was asking for the sake of discussion.

Finally. So it was not just curiosity but to start a discussion. WHICH IS WHAT I WAS ASKING ALL ALONG (that's what "challenge their response" means - a discussion). Why didn't you just say that right away when I asked?

I don't know what else to tell you, other than maybe take people at their word instead of looking to create conflict.

Ha, you literally just clarified you didn't mean it when you said you were asking just out of curiosity but it was, in fact, your intentional prompt to start a discussion.

It was pulling teeth but we finally got there. Thank you for finally clarifying.

I'd buy anything with a strong science fantasy bent. I assume MtG has at least a couple of those?

I have pretty limited knowledge but I did watch someone rank the sets online once.

The main one I remember was a Kamagawa : Neon Dynasty
As someone else mentioned there’s a new set coming out this year Edge of Eternities, but I couldn’t find much on it.

Are you under the impression that a 3 foot tall humanoid can be intrinsically stronger than a 7 foot tall humanoid?
They could always be stronger than taller species...

Compare swirfneblins with grey elves for example.

The whole argument that a little +1 or +2 modifier stops species from being more than a skin is rediculous.

And if you go to monsters: the average redcap has intrinsically 18 Str and counts as medium for grappling purposes.
