I actually read the Sci Fic News pages before reading the forums. It's a great source of information so keep up the great work.

I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the announcement of who will star as Wonder Woman.

I hope it's not going to be some anorexic chick like Sarah Gellar... and I liked Buffy. :)

I don't know much about Wonder Woman, but Joss Whedon is a name that will keep my eyes on that project.

SMG is tiny. They even remarked on that a couple of times on Buffy (Jenny Calendar: "I still don't get where Buffy's the Slayer. I mean, she's so tiny!"). This worked well on Buffy, because that show was at least partially about defying expectations. I am rather confident that Joss will understand that WW has a pretty well-established image, and "tiny" is not part of it.

Yeah, I'd hope that they get someone who's 5'10" at the very least and not averse to spending a lot of time in a gym.

I'm not too familiar with Whedon -- I've never seen a single episode of Buffy or Angel -- but his name carries a good bit of weight in geek circles, so I'm happy to sit back and let him do as he will.

I wonder who the villain will be. My money's on Ares, but it would be cool if they had another villain -- say, the Cheetah -- in a secondary role.
