• NOW LIVE! Into the Woods--new character species, eerie monsters, and haunting villains to populate the woodlands of your D&D games.

When the Universe tries to tell you something, you should listen.

I can dig it.

I've often thought it was ironic that the night I hurt myself at work, I was thinking to myself in the car on the way, "What if I fell down and dislocated my shoulder at work?"
Whaddaya think happened next? :]

I got a handsfree bluetooth for my phone, and I never fail to use it in the car. It's on before I put the car into gear. With two kids at home I don't see any reason to take chances.

The headset auto answers the phone after two rings, so I don't have to look away from my driving on the off chance someone calls me. I also set it up for voice dial, so if I do have to call I can just push a button on the headset and say the keyword for the person I want to call. Again, no reason to take eyes off of the road, and even that hand is only busy for a couple seconds. At no time do I need to use two hands for anything

I don't use the phone in the car often, but I've still taken the time and expense to get myself set up to be as safe as possible.

I'm amazed that hands-free isn't legally required.

It is in the UK. Or rather it's illegal to use a non-handsfree mobile.

I've just done a bit of driving in Europe, and the Germans seem to have great lane-discipline. It's quite frustrating being back in the UK waiting for people getting out of the outside lane so I can pass them.

Hope the rant got it out of your system, Vraille :).

That's because they are just trying to get everyone to put those bluetooth pods in your ears so eventually they can turn all of you into Cybermen.
