When were the first class specific record sheets published?

I was wondering when the first class specific character record sheets were published for D&D (any edition). Include both official ones published by TSR/WotC/Hasbro and unofficial ones that were clearly aimed at D&D but published by other companies.

I remember buying some for the old red box set WOTC (then TSR) had a set of 20 sheets or so divided up into the main classes. That's as early as I can remember.

Wow... I don't remeber specific ones in the boxed sets, but I recall the goldenrod colored AD&D 1e ones that had the character classes printed in the margin in calligraphic type.

Side note: A blast from the past - we were moving stuff in the basement last week, and while we were gaming, I noticed one of the old orange-red 1/2 page 1e NPC sheets.

No not in the box set, it was one of their gimmick sells.
Put it in with a DM screen I believe and you got the sheets with it.
Of course I've been know to suffer from that aging disorder known as CRS.
Can't Remember :):):):):)

As far as I know (and I don't own them), a very old company called "Wee Warriors" put out class specific character sheets in 1976, for the One True Game.

The first-ever sheets were published in 1975, apparently, although whether they were "class specific" I don't know. "Class specific" sheets might not have appeared until 1977 or 1978.

diaglo: I am refering to the Character Archaic, which had art buy someone called Morno. As per the Acaeum:
1975: Character Archaic. Published by Wee Warriors (of Palace of the Vampire Queen fame), and distributed by TSR. The first publicly-available character sheets. Red cover, featuring cover art by Morno. Contains 24 pages, consisting of 20 character sheets, a dungeon map (labeled "The Wizard's Tomb"), a creature encounter sheet, a character roll call, and a combat matrix reference. Three-hole-punched and bound with metal fasteners. Later revised in a 1977 edition, which was both produced and distributed by Wee Warriors exclusively (thanks to Wayne Mitchell for help with this info, and for the scan).
I think I read they were class specific.
