Where to find OD&D?

iirc, they have the supplements available as pdfs.

blackmoor i know is a freebie on Dave Arneson's site.

ebay or other auction site are your best bets for the hard copies.

If you go the ebay route just prepare to spend some real cash on getting OD&D materials. Sometimes the prices are just breathtaking :) So if you have access to a fast printer (preferrably color laser) I would choose to buy the pdfs online.

Is the Rules Cyclopedia what I'm looking for? I don't want to plop down my ca$h for the wrong porduct.

No, not if you want the ORIGINAL D&D system (from 1974).

The RC was published in 1991 -- it collects together all the rules from the Dungeons and Dragons line (the Basic, Expert, Masters, and Companion rules).

Rules-wise, it is similar to OD&D, but has a number of revisions, and is much clearer and more coherent overall. If you actually want to play a campaign with the rules in question, I would recommend the RC over OD&D hands-down (sorry Diaglo). But it is most definitely not the "original" D&D!
