I'm not surprised that The Hunt is the lowest on the list so far as far as how many people have it. I saw it in the store a week or two ago and was surprised that nobody had seemed to be talking about it here, but obviously it's kept a relatively low profile for whatever reason.

It looked really interesting, though. And it gathered a nomination. Makes me think twice, even though I really don't have much use for another (or any, for that matter) campaign setting right now. I'm curious if the nominators have any insight into what they liked about the setting to get it the nomination.

I have everything on the list except Hunt: Rise of Evil. Also, you forgot Kalamar, which I also have. Several of them are interesting, IMO, but none are as beautifully done as Kalamar.

Actually, The Hunt has a lot to offer and several new capabilities that add to the game and we think we came up with a fairly uniques premise (nothing is entirely unique anymore). I also think we presented the world in an interesting way. Visit the site at http://www.mysticeyegames.com to read more about The Hunt and Gothos.

I was thrilled when I saw the nomination but when I saw the competition I knew for a fact we were not likely to win! We have sold a few thousand of the Hunt, OA, oh 15-30 thousand I think. Since this is a popular vote them's the breaks.

BTW: I am not saying that we SHOULD win without a doubt or we are better than the other setting. I love Dragonstar, OA, Rokugan d20, and Scarred Lands. I just don't think we have the marketing and branding capability to even compete for a popular vote. I am thrilled to be placed alongside these awesome settings though.

It wasn't nominatd for an Ennie I think that is the criteria The sourcebook didn't come out this year.

Also I own all five I accidently didn't Hit The TH:RoE choice and I meant to.It is very good in fact they are all very good it will be hard to choose.

I voted None of the Above. Although i do have the Scarred Lands Gazeteer and its all i really need.

The Hunt: ROE setting seemed interesting, but i haven't stumbled on the extra cash to get it, as its not on my Must Have list.

I have Dragonstar, OA, and Rokugan. OA and Rokugan are great, but Dragonstar is just so much the kind of stuff I like that I can't vote for anything else :)

I only included those campaign setting that were nominated for the "Gen Con EN World d20 System Awards 2002".

I happen to collect different campaign settings just because I enjoy reading about different worlds.

Oriental adventures is full of lots of good stuff and so is Rokugen but neither one struck me as particular new or original. I've read so many other variations of oriental campaign material that the only usefull stuff (for me) was the 'crunch'.

Thanks for the information. This is the one campaign setting that I am currently missing and I'm not going to vote myself until I've had a chance to look over The Hunt. I'm going to pick it this weekend and start reading.

I was wondering why I had not seen more about this setting. I don't remember it showing up in the local hobby stores ("Ann Arbor, MI") but it is possible that I just missed it.

later,
Ysgarran.
