I voted for all of them, and not in an attempt to be arbitrary. I'd honestly like to see any and all of these modules updated. Heck, I wouldn't mind seeing the 2e and 3e modules updated, either.

None! We don't need any more retreads. There have already been too many. Even if a module follows the same formula as a classic module (which--indeed--isn't a bad idea), I'd rather it be otherwise entirely new rather than a retread.

I'm trying to figure out the fascination with Keep on the Borderlands. Sure, I'm part of the crowd that cut our teeth on it when it came in the purple box, but I can remember thinking 'this doesn't make a lot of sense' looking at it when I was ten years old. Mike Mearls has a great review along those lines on RPG.net (found it:here .

However, the Caves of Chaos are great for dismantling. Each cave could stand alone as a decent side trek type of adventure (more or less.) But mashing them all together, bleh.

Even worse was the feeling that there should have been a plot, but there wasn't. Tell me again why I'm at the Keep? And why do I care about these caves? Well, that was it, and that was how it played: 'OK, you're at the Keep on the Borderlands. You hear about the Caves of Chaos. You go there. Pick a cave.'

It would have been better if it removed the pretension, called itself B2:The Caves of Chaos, and started out: 'After a long journey, you've arrived at the Caves of Chaos. Pick a cave.'

I guess you only put the ones on the list you own...

X10- red arrow, black shield is by far my favourite all time module. It's alos a sequel to X4 & X5

edit : Uriens beat me to it.

Has someone already started a thread about converting classic modules to the 4E system? Please point me in the right direction; I'd love to get some help/feedback on this project...the more brains the better.
Nah, it's nothing complicated. I was just drawing a comparison between playing the same module over again and watching reruns. :)

I think it's actually a cool idea, especially since you can run the same module more than once and not have it come out remotely the same each time.

Ravenloft, because it's the only module that has a version in every edition of (A)D&D.

ToEE appears to be a certainty, what with the Elemental Maelstrom; the ties between Tharizdun, Elemental Evil and the Abyss; and the likelihood of Hommlet in the DMG.

I would also like updates to "Sunless Citadel", "Night Below" and, a personal favourite of mine, "The Shattered Circle".

However... at the same time, I don't want to see too many retreads. There needs to be room for new adventures, so that when the time comes for 5e we can be talking about the classics of 4th Edition.

How about "start again from scratch, trying to fit the setting to the new rules set"??
That would get my vote, too. I want new adventures to become the Classics of the future.

The only one I would be remotely interested in is TOEE.
