Which classic setting should be get a 3.5 update next?

I'd second that, the setting needs more than "core books" and if nothing else, 3.5 conversions of previous material.

Where did you hear this info from? About the Lady and other info about the Player's Guide to the Planes?

I'm reasonable sure he's making that up. I don't believe anyone that gotten info to that book has anything to deal with PS or the Lady. Not even Sigil I imagine. But I do think if a 3.5 update is done, they'll do a CS for it.

Al-Qadim was touched on in the last issue of Dragon Magazine, but it just wasn't enough. At least, not in the eyes of this hard core Forgotten Realms fan. For those of you who are not fully aware, Al-Qadim is the campaign name for the lands of Zakhara, which lies on the same continent of Faerun, beyond the lands of Kara-Tur. I know most of the voters went the way of Planescape, and I'm pretty sure your pleas will be answered in the Planar Handbook: A Player's Guide to the Planes. From what I kow of it, there will info on the City of Sigil, a small chapter on the factions, and also from what I hear, the Lady of Pain will be statted. I seriously hope that wizards will eventually publish core books for Kara-Tur, Zakhara and Maztica with supllemental softbacks following.

I almost gauruntee that most of this post is rubbish. And I would bet my house that WotC won't ever touch Maztica again.

I'd love to see more stuff for Al-Quadim, but really what needs to be done for that or planescape? we've got most of the monsters. We've got PrCs for all factions in planescape. what rules do you want? Cos the fluff is still out there, and in most cases cheaper than it's ever been before.

In general, I would agree with that.

However, the settings in the poll already have an established fan base are are being used by those fans. They aren't 'new' settings.
