Yeah, but that's a good thing. ;-)

How? Have you played GURPS? It’s exponentially more tightly codified and complex than what I just described. DMs have been making homebrew races since the only DM was Gygax. It’s an extremely normal thing to do.because then we’d be playing Gurps
I’m still not seeing the issue tbh. They live in family groups and communicate amongst themselves. They don’t need a complex social order to do that. It's not the sapience, it's the unique language they've developed despite not having a society or culture that would have necessitated such. If they just spoke Sylvan, I would question it.
No, no I like grell, particularly intelligent space pirate grell in Spelljammer. I stand by my disdain of the fart powered jellyfish and the 'use dice as a monster of cosmic order'.BUT YOU GUYS DONT WANT FLUMPHS, GRELL or MODRONS DO YAH????
Party poopers... (j/k)![]()
Funnily enough, I'm working on a campaign intended for September, and "dragonborn, dinosaurs, and guns" wouldn't be a bad elevator pitch for it.No dragonborn, no dinosaurs, no guns/gunpowder.
Dinoriders with dragonfolk? Let's do this.Funnily enough, I'm working on a campaign intended for September, and "dragonborn, dinosaurs, and guns" wouldn't be a bad elevator pitch for it.![]()
Swap out confederate space cowboy colonists for dragonborn and Broncosaurus Rex comes to mind.Funnily enough, I'm working on a campaign intended for September, and "dragonborn, dinosaurs, and guns" wouldn't be a bad elevator pitch for it.![]()
