I mostly play casters... my girlfriend would ask me if I was sick if I would play a character which wouldn't eventually gain some spellcasting ability ^^;;
And when multiclassing... always with at least one casting class.

Rogue, all the way... Except when I go Rogue Fighter Ranger.. But then, a little magic is good, but Rogue at the core. Definately.

- Kemrain the... Rogue!

Arthur was the hero. Merlin was the sidekick.

Truth be told, I prefer Ranger to Rogue to Fighter, but that's a different poll.

non-spellcasters.

i've played an arcane spellcaster in 3e for a grand total of one session. i played a fighter/cleric up to 8th level, and only used my spells for healing. (a real man doesn't rely on magic to help him fight.) ;)

I tend to play mainly fighter types, as I have an extreme dislike for the 'spells per day' magic system. hence, whenever I wish to play a spellcaster, I use my own variant mana system derived from SPD origins. :cool:

Grand High Wizard of the Cosmos: "Well, it looks like I'll be beaten by a gang of ruffians because I decked myself out for houscleaning instead of a fight." :/
